I need clarification. What was the original run time for The Cosby Show during it's original airing between 1984-1992 before syndication. Most sitcomes from the 50's-70's came in at about 25-28 minutes. Did the show come in at about 25 minutes in its original run? If so, does anyone remember any scenes from the original run that are not on Nick at Nite or syndication due to editing?

I believe Cosbys was 24 minutes in it's original run on NBC.

Viacom is notorious for editing. They ruin every show they get their hands on and the idiots have a bad habit of running episodes out of order. They really treat sitcomes like ***** if you ask me.

I think the Cosby's on TBS is less edited but don't quote me on that.
