thats hard for me I USE to think Monica but not so much lately
Now i'm leaning towards Rachel

It was Phoebe from seasons 1-7 then Rachel from 6-present. Rachel is a riot nowadays! Monicas never been THE funniest IMO.

Pheobe has always been my favorite. Monica is my second favorite. Rachael is my third.

Phoebe. Rachel is a close second and Monica is third. I never found Monica funny until the last season

I'm glad to see my opinion hasn't changed since the day I officially became a fan (which happened to be the night of the finale.... the buzz must have sucked me in)

I can't believe Monica is so far behind....
She was the funniest of the three.

I love Monica, but I've never really considered her too funny. I've always thought of her more as the straight man to everyone else. She's had some of the best one-liners though, and she's usually at her funniest when she's being neurotic and obsessive (except in the later years, when that became her ONLY characteristic).

Monica was 10 times funnier than the other two when she was neurotic and obsessed, imo. Even though she did play the straight man in the first few seasons, she has always had more comedic ammunition than Rachel, who mainly relied on whining (which I don't find funny at all).

Normally, I hate whiny characters too, but somehow I found Rachel endearing about it. I don't know what it is. She became more laid-back around season 5, though.

In the last three seasons or so, Monica was nothing BUT obsessive and became a caricature. That's the Monica I hate. She used to be a real character, instead of a shrill banshee who ordered her husband around. Fortunately, it wasn't every episode she acted like that, but I always hated that the writers did her character such a disservice in those later years.

My favorite part about Monica is that she doesn't try to be funny- she just is. And it doesn't come off as unnatural like most of the other characters. One of my favorite storylines is when Monica tries to see if the jeans her cleaning lady is wearing are hers by looking for an ink stain on the crotch. All of the sudden she gets caught between the maid's legs and screams out "I've never had a maid before- is this not okay?" :lol:

Phoebe. She is hysterical. I always quote her great lines.

Rachel is good too but more for the situations she's in rather than her lines and expressions. Monica is funny in a corny way. She's like your friend who tells chessy jokes and puns and stuff. But she's still is great.

They all make me laugh, but Phoebe makes me laugh the most.

Yeah, I kind of agree. I mean, in the very first season, she acted a little mature. As time went on, especially beginning in the 6th season (at least, that's when I really thought about it), she gets really whiny about stuff. She was one of my favorite characters in the beginning, but it changed after a few seasons. Of the girls, Phoebe still makes me laugh the most, but she's not my favorite character.

I think Rachel makes me laugh the most.

Pheobe is funny because her way of thinking is just so ridiculus sometimes.
