View Full Version : Do or Die For Yanks Tonight...
Well folks, tonight could be it for the Bronx Bombers.
Behind three games to two, can they come from behind and take it all?
I've got the Magic 8 ball out, let's see what will happen...
Oh Magic 8 ball, will the Yanks win tonight?
"Signs point to Yes."
Whew! That's a relief. Now I can go to bed.
So, what do you think?
;)
Brian Damage 10-25-2003, 07:59 PM I'm not 100% sure. I want to say yes, but they can't hit a lick. Even if they lose, my World Series was against the Red Sox. Everything now seems anticlimatic.
Eddie Haskell 10-27-2003, 02:08 AM Wonder what the ratings were for the World Series.......a lot of baseball fans that I know, didn't even watch it up until the Marlins had that 3 games to 2 lead. Always enjoyable to see the Yankees lose. :D
EricIdlefan 11-08-2003, 12:11 AM Well, there is always next year so sometimes, good things are worth waiting!!

You mean the Red Sox are going to win it next year? :happyface
EricIdlefan 11-08-2003, 03:02 PM If the Yankees got rid of Joe Torre, though not much of a baseball fan, I will get pissed off and blame Steinbremer over this!!
sinatrastar 11-08-2003, 08:28 PM Uhm, who else would there be to blame?
EricIdlefan 11-09-2003, 12:28 AM George Steinbremer of course!!

Torre's contract expires after next season and I doubt whether he would re-sign with the Yankees. He seems to have had enough of Georgie.....the money was nice but he has enough moolah to retire or do whatever he wants. Bye-bye NY.

I saw it a few weeks ago and the Yanks lost.

Too bad that they can't get rid of George because not only does the players, coaches, and staff hate him but also the personal, community, & media relations hate him like oil, salt, & vineger!!
