What are your thoughts on the Babu Bhatt character? Did you like him, dislike him? or it made no difference to you either way.

The guy was pretty ingrateful in the finale. Jerry patroned his restaurant, treated him as a friend, and found him an apartment and a job.

What would Jerry know about running a restaurant? Babu was supposed to be the pro. Would Jerry use Babu's jokes? Doubt it.

BUT, he was funny!

He seemed a little bipolar. He was either thanking Jerry up and down for helping him or flipping out and yelling at Jerry. I liked the character a lot overall.

I liked him too. He did seem a little ungrateful like you said.

Babu had himself to blame, why didnt he actually try to get his immigration papers instead of just wondering why he never got them? Elaine should have told him off.

I couldn't stand it how he was so mad at Jerry, even though Jerry obviously went out of his way to help him. It seems like he'd be more upset with the immigration people or the city in general. I guess Babu was just looking for someone to pin his problems on.

I liked Babu, I never realized what a jerk he was until now.
