Did any of you catch the episode the other night where Mrs. Garrett was teaching the sex education class? (oh, maybe this is the "Facts of Love" episode that I was asking about in another thread). In some exposition dialogue, Mrs. Garrett says to Mr. Bradley something like "Well, I'm qualified to teach this class because I'm a registered nurse." Huh? They toss this off like the RN degree is as easy to get as a junior lifesavers' certificiate. I know they were stretching to get Edna in the classroom, but this is preposterous. How she went from nurse to housekeeper is beyond me. And this nursing degree was never mentioned again, especially when Mrs. G. went to college in season 7.

Yeah, I caught this too.... A major continuity flaw. Edna Garrett was always supposedly an uneducated woman as far as secondary schooling went until she went to college in Season 5. I have several RNs in my family, and trust me, they spent longer than I did in college - and I have a Masters degree....
