Now HERE'S a stupid question...but I really need to know the answer....
How does the start of Daylight Savings Time affect the NICK AT NITE overnight schedule?
I have my VCR programmed to tape "Wings" every night at 3:30 AM, and my VCR should re-program itself to reflect the Daylight Savings Time change (at least it always HAS)....but I've never taped shows on an "overnight" schedule before during such a time change.
How does NICK handle the change? Their online schedule is very confusing...they show an hour block between midnight and 1 AM as "null", then they have "Daylight Savings Time" printed in the 2 AM "Roseanne" block.
I just want to make sure that I catch the "Wings" episode tomorrow night (ESPECIALLY since it's Part 1 of "Joe Blows")!
Any info on this?

Don't get me started on daylight savings time.
I'll wake up on Sunday and my clock will be... 6:00am and in actuality it's 7:00am.
Does anybody remember the "Emergency!" marathon that TV Land had one year during the changeover when at 2:00am, they showed the show in split screen, one with sound and one with closed captions?

oh wow. I've never thought about that before...
I've never taped or watched a show at that time of night/morning to see if it was affected by the time change the night that the clocks are turned back....
and good thing you mentioned this, because i probably would have comletely forgot to change my clocks back tonight. hahaha. then i would have been at work an hour early tomorrow morning. lol... or will it be an hour late?? hahaha woa. and i need to be starting some homework soon, and i can't even figure out the time-change thing. I don't think the homework will come out well. lol!

All I know is they are having two extra eps of 'Roseanne' on at 2am, and extended an extra hour. I guess we'll find out soon.

Just to play safe, I also programmed the 4:30-5:00 block in my VCR, just for this Sunday morning. That way I'll be sure to get the "Wings" episode WHENEVER it shows up!

Well, for ONCE something worked out for me! I happened to wake up around 4 AM, so I had a chance to rewind that extra "Roseanne" episode that was shown during the "regular" WINGS timeslot and tape over that....then when WINGS DID come on at 4:30, my VCR timer was set for THAT time too, so I DID get Part 1 of "Joe Blows".
Mission accomplished....but it sure wasn't EASY! (The things that I go through for this show....if this isn't the stuff that diehard fans are made of, I don't know what IS!).

Not for me, I got up at 4:30 and it was Cheers on, it was the time change 4:30, so something was screwed up here big time. I don't think Wings was on here, cause I have a TIVO and it records everytime Wings is on anytime any channel, and it recorded Cheers @ 4:30, I mean Wings was listed @ 4:30 but it was Cheers, their whole schedule was screwed up, and I am mad, I had been waiting all week to see "Joe Blows" cause it one of my fav. episodes of the whole series.
