I'm just wondering why people dislike the Eagles....I'm from Philly so I bleed green, but why do other NFL fans trash us and hope for us to lose?

What, do you want fans from other cities to love the Eagles? What planet do you reside? It's a basic concept, people usually root for their home team.

I'm sure the Eagles have enough fans in the tri-state area that love them to compensate for the ones who don't.

I'm a Charger fan but they are not the best team in the NFL. They are my favorite team and I really like them. But does that mean that I should expect everybody to like them? If you expect everybody to like your favorite team, then be prepared for a hellavalot of disappointments.

I'm well aware of the "basic concept" of rooting for the home team, Ms. Janice. That means that you must be a Patriots fan. That's kinda ironic because you just got mad at me for criticizing YOUR home team on another post. Hey, the Eagles suck this year and might lose to the Jets and It's just funny that people are very happy about that. Oh well... :confused:

Another thing nobody noted is that the Eagles are well known for having the worst fans at their home games.

For crying out loud they had to put a jail in the Vet.

Other teams have obnoxious, violent fans, but ask anyone who goes to games, the Eagle fans are the worst.

You make no sense whatsoever. Rooting for your home team and not liking it when someone creates a thread to call your team frauds and stole the Superbowl are two different things and not 'ironic' at all.

THe Eagles fan are crazy. I have to put up with this mess all the time. Eagles fans are either on a emotional high or low. Nothing in between.

I love the Eagles ever since McNabb became the starter. I not only like McNabb on the field but off it, he is so polite, humble, modest, no ego and/or pampering, and is a team player(Did you see his press conference after the Limbaugh flap!!??) He has class and kept a cool, calm, and collected attitude.

I dont think they hate the eagles as much as they dont want to like MCNABB..... why not jump the bandwagon..if rush is hard on him why not you just join him. Thats the way a lot of this is going down.

Im not in Philly and I used to like the Eagles, I dont think there is a general dislike for them more than any other team. Hated teams would be the Cowboys and Raiders I think. Eagles are boring this year, there is no reason to think to much about them let alone hate them.
