View Full Version : Bridget Jones's diary & sequel MonarC 10-25-2003, 12:02 AM This movie was cool. I can't wait till the sequel. :D Liza 10-25-2003, 12:10 AM I LOVE Bridget Jones!!!! I've read both the books and I loved the first movie. My sis and I are huge Jane Austen fans and we went to see that movie without a clue - halfway through we looked at each other and went "this is Pride and Prejudice!" totally kewl ;) the sequel is kind of based off of "Persuasion" and it looks like they're getting all of the original cast back. I'm happy. Moonshadow 10-25-2003, 12:18 AM Originally posted by MonarC This movie was cool. I can't wait till the sequel. :D Yeah it was awesome! I can't wait for the sequel either. sara 10-25-2003, 01:23 AM Yea!! I can't wait. The first one was great and I love Colin Firth:eyes: MonarC 10-25-2003, 01:54 PM Originally posted by Liza the sequel is kind of based off of "Persuasion" and it looks like they're getting all of the original cast back. They were filming a scene with Colin Firth and Hugh Grant fighting- but they filmed out in the open, and many of the passers-by were very shocked. MonarC 10-25-2003, 05:31 PM i bet that was cool to watch... :D does she have to gain weight for the part again? http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/MMPH-E/254731.jpg Liza 10-25-2003, 10:19 PM Originally posted by MonarC i bet that was cool to watch... :D does she have to gain weight for the part again? yeah, and she was complaining about it again  but there's a part where she has to lose a lot too. MonarC 10-25-2003, 11:23 PM well gaining weight and losing and gaining and losing can't be good for your health. And we al know it ain't easy to lose weight. Liza 10-26-2003, 12:37 AM I know, but am I all alone in thinking she didn't look fat in the first movie? I thought she looked a little round, but healthy and normal - I think she should keep it on personally ;) webuster 10-26-2003, 08:51 AM I didn't think she looked that overweight either- she just wanted to look like a typical english single woman, apparently. Anyway-more news from the set has been published. Apparently, Renee is requesting tapes of a popular morning tv show in the UK- GMTV, because she thinks one of the presenters in it is who she should model Bridget as. She likes the way the presenter flirts with co-presenters and guests and wants to bring the quality to bridget. MonarC 10-26-2003, 06:29 PM yeah she wasn't "FAT" but just a little "Thick" or "chunky" but she has a small body frame. It should be easy for her to lose weight since she's rich and can go to expensive spas and what not. http://images.allposters.com/images/118/017_BRIDGETJONES_DOUBLESIDED.jpg Moonshadow 10-26-2003, 07:24 PM I don't think she looked fat as Bridget, either. dr frasier crane 10-29-2003, 07:44 PM I just love Renee Zellweger. She a terrific actress and pretty good-looking if you ask me! shel 7296 11-02-2003, 06:53 PM She did not look fat to me neither. |
