I'm not really impressed with Beyonce. I think she is overhyped. She is a average looking female.

if you mean by how she looks, yeah a little. shes kinda pretty but shes not unbelievably sexy.

I am so sick of hearing her name. I couldn't stand that Bonnie and Clyde video she did a while ago - couldn't bear to sit through Austin Powers 3 and anytime I see her on TV now I change the channel.

i think she is a pretty woman.
but she is very stuck on herself.
and seems to be too selfinvolved.
her music is not all that great either.
neither is her acting.
she is getting to be like the annoying j-lo

Looks wise...she looks nice because she's only like 22 and she has beauticians at her disposal. Otherwise, she'd probably look no better or worse than any other 22 year old female.

i think she has real talent. i know a lot of people would disagree but i think she can actually sing.

I loved her on Austin Powers 3..but I am not too thrilled with her solo stuff..I think she is a very beautiful girl...and being over-rated..the way MTV over plays her videos..yes..

shes very talented, yet... i feel she IS in fact overrated. She's getting all this attention, and Im a bit surprised

Ok- are we talking *looks* or music? (I haven't even read the replies here yet)

Musically, she, along with dozens of her contemporaries, are way overrated & over-hyped.

With her looks, I think she's attractive, but have seen far cuter "Girl Next Door" types.

Overrated? YES! I think she is kind of pretty some of the time, but other times I think she isn't really, which leads me to believe that when she looks her "best," it is flattering lights and even airbrushing. When she is dancing in the sand in her recent video... omg, that is not her. I don't know how computers do it, but she has been downsized in those shots! Anyhoo... her music is alright, but I'm sick of it. And I've thought she has a big head pretty much ever since two of the original girls of Destiny's Child left. I just think there is some truth to those rumors.

I think she is a pretty lady but, remember like someone said there are beauticians and professional make up artist in the ready for her.

I did like her video Crazy in love but I didn't like her slinking in the sand video :p

Yeah Beyonce is overrated she want sing with rapped why she sing by herself.

I loved her in Destiny's Child, but as a solo artist, she's become another dime-a-dozen solo r&b female artist who feels compelled to work with rappers like Ashanti or something every song out. She was doing fine as it was in DC.

I'm with Brian, shes awesome. They play her videos on MTV and her songs on the radio all day because theyre successful and make the labels $$$$. If they played them 24/7 and no one liked it, she wouldnt be where she is now. Also, Ive seen pics of her without makeup on DC specials and such, and she does look pretty without it.

actually, ANYTHING MTV plays will get people liking it. Most of the adolescent audience goes with the crowd. If MTV decided to suddenly "make Yoko Ono cool" and started playing her to death, you bet that suddenly all these 12 year olds will start talking about how she's the greatest. Anyone who watches South Park and saw the Queer Eye parody knows what we're talking about, the episode poked fun at how trendy kids are.

If she wasn't good, they wouldn't play it 24/7.

She is a great singer, and a very classy and beautiful lady. I don't really like her solo cd at all though. But regardless...she seems like a nice person. I wish the other members of Destiny had the same amount of hype. Kelly is my favorite.

I agree, Kelly Rowland is very good too.

I love her music and she's pretty, but it seems that she's wearing a lot less clothing and slinking around more sinse she went solo. I'm kinda sick of seeing her draped across things half naked. Love her cd though...

yep, I think it'll be on tonight at 11 on Comedy Central, it just premiered last week. All the kids went to school with "gay makeovers" and then they made fun of Kyle for not going along with the metrosexual craze, and then Kyle and Mr. Garrison go to NYC to kill the Queer Eye guys (Mr. Garrison hates them for "selling out" the gay community to make the look fashionable for straight men) and then it turns out the 5 QEFTSG guys are really crab people, LOL.

I like Beyonce, and I never watch MTV, unless Newlyweds is on. :D She can sing, and she can dance, and she can act. So what, she's over advertised? So is every other singer/performer in the business.
