According to The E! True Hollywood Story, the ratings for the first season of the facts were in the 30's or 40's. The fact is that E! was too embarrassed to say that the ratings for the first season were really in the 70's, so they jumped to the 2nd season ratings! I'm pretty sure that only 4.8% of american's watched the first season. The best the series was ever in the ratings was #24 though! Like 22% watched it at the time.

Except for the first season, the show stayed around the same position the whole time. I honestly don't know why the 5th and 7th seasons were so much higher than the 4th and 6th tho. And proves that season 8 was still a success
