Ok, so I was in class tonight- one of my computer science classes- we had a guest speaker. He was talking about airplanes being operated by computers, vs. airplanes being operated by human pilots...
Well, he ended up going off on this huge tangent about lift, and all I could think of was the Wings episode "Airport '90" when Joe and Brian started up a flight school, but Joe was teaching the stuff you have to know before you actually fly a plane, and Helen flipped out because Joe spent a week teaching about lift. lol!
I almost started laughing in class listening to this guy drone on about lift, and thinking of Helen in that episode- sitting in Joe's class and going out of her mind with boredom. hehehe

well, just thought I'd share... :crazy:

I can picture you in my mind right now krista, :lol: ... sitting there with a great big smirk on your face trying so hard not to laugh outloud.

I had a similar thing happen to me back when N@N was airing the Wings marathon. One of the episodes they aired was Insanity Claus (the one when the angry air-traffic controler takes Antonio hostage for eating the last jelly donut) and during the episode, Bob (the air-traffic controller) says to Helen "I'll have the usual, a coffee and a jelly donut." The next day in health class, we were watching some movie and at one point, some of the characters were in a diner and one of them goes up to the counter and says "I'll have the usual, a coffee and a jelly donut." I started laughing a bit and some of my classmates who were sitting near me gave a a "Has she gone insane?" look. I said, "Sorry, I just thought of something funny I saw on TV last night". :doh: :D
