 I absolutely agree! She's not an overrated star, and she is SO excellent as Mama. You can't even recognize her under there, that's how great she is. She's in her mid-50's and looks DAMN great for her age. She acts very wise & acts her age but looks MUCH younger than that. I should know, I saw her in person...Absolutely stunning. :)

I saw her on "Hollywood Squares" all of last week as Mama, and Friday's episode nearly made me pee my pants!

When I'm not collecting autographed pics, I collect license plates. Presently, my license plate hobby has been put on hold because of moving and stuff.

But here's a really cool old 1927 license plate from ND...

EXACTLY. When I write to celebs, I ask them to put my name on it because then they know I"m not going to sell it on eBay or whatever. I truly mean it. Whatever picture I get, I put in a binder in acid-free top-loading plastic sheets. I am NOT going to sell them. Never. Only after I die, can they be sold off. :p

My all-time favorite ND license plate is a toss-up between the 1980 plates they had (black on white with stamped "80" in upper right corner), and the ones they started to issue in late 1987 (right at the turn to 1988) for its centennial, which occurred in 1989.

I have already met Vicki in person, have her home address & she has my home address, so if I write to her to ask for something, she gladly sends it back in a month & personalized, too. I would NEVER sell any of my Vicki stuff on eBay because I cherish them. :)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is WAY TOO COOL! I'm such a big geek...This type of plate you just posted is what is called a Ham Radio plate...basically amateur radio. When you work in amateur radio, you get assigned a "callsign", and more than half the time, it has a Ø somewhere in it. Most callsigns are 4-5 letters long, but I've seen some Ham Radio plates with callsigns that are 6 letters long.

Pretty cool, eh?

I agree. Big, blocky letters.

If it's of any consolation, ND plates weren't much better in the 70's, either. They only used numbers and didn't start to use letters on their plates until 1979.
