Do you find yourself at times thinking of board members? I do. Something triggers it, a song, a movie, etc. For example, I recently saw the movie, Mystic River, and thought of Kitt while in the theater because I knew he had seen it the day before.
I thought of AKA while watching Bowling for Columbine because he's a Michael Moore fan.
I heard one of my favorite songs on the radio the other day, Losing My Religion, and I thought of Hannah Lee because she posted that she loved the song too on the music board.
I watched a movie a while back, Ash Wednesday. It was set in Hell's Kitchen, so I thought of TJL. Actually any bar brings TJL to mind, lol. ;)
The Red Sox bring MissKarly, Swimfan and MsConanOBrien to mind.
I can't post more examples or this post would be too long. It is already.
Those are just a few examples. I don't obsess, but I find myself thinking of the folks here when the situation arises.

I have Tourette's Syndrome, which means I say things on impulse. Sometimes I quietly repeat member names and people's posts out loud (but only when I'm by myself.) In fact I can memorize a lot of posts by someone word-for-word.

lol yes. Just the other day I thought of NORM (steve) when my friend mentioned a tape she got. Or sometimes I hear something and I think "I have to tell so and so". The weird thing is though that there is such a wide range of ages on here. In other words if this were let's say a city, some of us wouldn't be friends because we are 4 or 20 years apart. This kind of allows you to forget the age barriers and get to know the actual person.

Oh, and whenever I see a pointless or really wacky picture of an object, I think of Sarah. :crazy: :lol: Sounds silly, I know, but that's what happens with me ;)

I do. Theres a place up the road from my house called Fleet Paint & something else(i dont remember the full name.) So when I go by there I think of Fleet.

If I see Conan's picture somewhere it makes me think of Crystal.

There are other things like that.

Yes all the time. Any R.E.M song reminds me of you, Janice, because I remember how much you like "Losing my Religion." Trading Spaces always makes me think of Tradingmooses. Conan of course makes me think of Crystal whenever I see Conan. Every time I hear or see a Rancid, the Distillers, or LMFP song I think of Tim. And any song by Iron Maiden brings Captain Ablairica to mind. I guess that's just because we come her so often and talk to all of these people so often.

of course! when trading spaces is...who else but ms. amy. and then when i see something of spongebob i automatically think "caitlin." there's more too. i do think about so in school too, not just certain people, but the entire group.

Yeah, I find myself thinking about members here. I'll see something on tv, a movie, hear a song, etc. and they instantly come to mind. Or, I'll wonder how someone's doing.. stuff like that.

Gah, Im trying to remember what it was about.. but all I remember is being at Gortons (gas station/store in Danville) and talking. We were waiting for something. I think she was in the part of the dream with Clay. We were at some place and they were selling EVERYTHING Clay and I was grabbing everything. It was all baseball stuff.. so I think I got it from the thread I read lastnite about him singing the National Anthem at the World Series Game 1!

I heard Elvis on the radio this week, thought of Mary. When I flip through and see one of the shows airing late at night on TVLand, I think of Tara (not to mention eBay). Allison comes to mind when I look at my Vicki Lawrence record, or when I hear the name Vicki. Now that Anthony's in San Antonio, I think of him when the weather's on and I wonder how he's enjoying it here, even though he's in training school and probably isn't out seeing the city. And I was meaning to keep it, but the colors bugged me, lol. That's why I switched to the black/blue/weird light effect one, I don't really like bright colors. I think of Jenny pretty often. Any songs about Georgia that I hear especially prompt thoughts of her. She's my fun-buddy Southern girl. :)

Janice is probably as close to a real live person to me as anyone on here . She's the wit, and the mega movie buff, and all around 'good tme gal'. Now that she's the big cheese on SO, though, I watch my p's and q's on the board more than I used to.;) Not really. Janice doesn't scare me. :p

And her name was Emily and from what I gathered from Holly and Dorothy, Dorothy was under another screen name and posed as somebody named Kerri. Emily was definitely NOT Dorothy at all. Dorothy's on dialup and it would ahve taken a long-ass time to switch names and post a pic. 5 minutes at least. Believe me, I had dialup til I moved. I've got two screen names on here (they're exactly the same, the other one just has three !'s instead of two !'s like this name), and I've had to switch between names on occasion. And believe me when I say it takes a long time to switch, log in with my other name and go to whatever thread I was in and post in it.

Yeah like.. all the time. If I see something on TV or in a magazine or hear something about someone/something I know someone on here likes, I rush to the computer to PM them about it lol. Or if something happens at work, or I thought about them because of something that happened.. Ill think about it all day and that I have to tell them right away. Its crazy! Honestly I think of some of the people on SO because Im on here so much and because I talk to them so much on SO and off. I think about people on SO moreso than I do my real friends and family! :crazy: But a lot of people on here I consider friends anyways. Everything around me reminds me of someone on the boards whether Im watching a certain TV show, or eating a particular food.

I think about people from here all the time. Certain things or posts I can associate with a particular member. :lol:

yeah frankly this board is a big part of my life. in my spare time or when i'm trying to fall asleep or something i think about **** here. when i feel like annoying my brother i tell him about stuff here and refer to everyone by their first names like he knows what i'm talking about :lol: and i write :grr: on everything. the end
