Poll - What was the crazies thing you ever did having to do with FOL?

Mine was when I played a tape of FOL that I taped when they were eating corn flakes so I ate cornflakes at the same time and I was pretening I was eating with them..lol..what about you?

In the episode Cruise'N When they all sing at the gas station I sing a long with them like I'm there.

I sing along (off key, might I add) to the theme song usually and I'm also prone to saying the lines w/them even if it's my first time seeing the episode... I also call all my FOL loving friends and we say the ep together! (I know, I might be a lil weird! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif )

Okay, this was stupid...really stupid! My mom took me out to the Anchorage uptown one night. I ordered a chicken sandwich, hot fudge shake, and a mountain dew (lemme tell ya, that was a little over the edge for sugar...) I had FOL on my mind. I had the theme song in my head. So I like started to chew and drink to the beat. First was chicken sandwich, then came Moutain Dew, then hot fudge shake. I even had a round going at one point! lol. So I imagine people were staring at me. Then my mom askes me why I was up so early. I told her I was watching the second part of the FOL ep I taped. So then I started telling her what happened. I told her every little detail. I guess I was talking a little louder than I ment to be bcause I turned around and everybody was staring at me! lol

After Blair had 'another one of her brilliant ideas' I think I actually caught myself doing a hair flip.

A few of my buds and I had a study-sleep over for a history test and THE VERY SAME NIGHT, the FOL episode that all the girls were cramming for (i think) mid-terms and they were eating pizza...so were we!!!!!!!!!!! (only thing was that we didn't have one of those Natalie-lightning-bolt-caps!!!!

WEll this is pretty stupied but after I got my hair highlited blonded I came home and I started do the Blair hair flip thing the rest of the day.

i did a magazine about fol in this computer class i had~for an ss project i did something on Diff'rent Strokes and then the last sentence i forget what i said and then i was like they learned the facts of life...(and my teacher knows i am obsessed with it) also for an essay we had to write what time period we would want to live in and I said the 80's...and i named all this stuff about the clothes, stlyes, music, tv(fol of course) for a paragpragh and then i did the real paragraph and u no what my teacher read the essay aloud to the classes and i got an A on it and people said tv wasnt educational!also i went to a concert and at 9:30 exactly i screamed really loudly that the facts of life is starting...and then i called my cuz to make sure sshe put the tape in...

I have a few...

1) In class for a poem i stole the lines of FOL and changed them, teachy never noticed.

2) Me and a guy at school started singing the theme song to FOL Fairly loud, he didnt know the words and i was off key soo........

3) i began talking FOL at a school dance with my algebra teacher when she saw me in the hall calling my mom too make sure she hit the record button.

4) i start sighing and tossing my hair all the time, blair has poisoned me i used to be tough, sniff sniff.

5) When i memorized the lines too "like old times" Line for line, word for word, sniffle for sniffle and started reciteing it to my friend at school like a dum-dum

6) And last but not least when i offered my big cousin $825 my total savings to print out the bio of Nancy McKeon ANd to find out what lifetime show she was on and for the FOL episode guide. She didnt exept my offer, but now im online so i dont care, that just makes her 800 dollars poorer hhaha!

Oh wow, you last one was a little extreme! Mine is: Since my friends and I are all really into acting (musical theatre) we decided we'd do a Facts of Life thing and we all memorised the words to "Hot Rod Lover" from the Bobby Rydell and Fabian episode with all the harmonies and stuff. Then we performed it for all our acting friends in costume and all. They looked at us like we were crazy, but we had soo much fun and we really looked like the FOL girls!

Am the only one whose mind hasn't been altered by FOL? LOL

We (me and my friends) have written (ok i wrote) a script that we are going to perform. Each of us is one of the girls (I'm Blair). We are going to tape it and edit it and make us aa little home movie with scrolling credits and everything! we've done it before for the wright brothers(school project) but now we made our own story to follow about my fav show. I think I broke out in the theme song during a geometry test once only the people near me heard my singing but that was enough to scar me. Gotta go later...ps Awsome topic!

i have done a lot too! once i was in a fight with my friend and she never watche dFOL and i shot out come backthat jo and blair used and she lost the fight! Also i was twirling my hair like blair and my friend Rachel who loves Fol slapped me so hard the teacher heard it and asked what we were doing..we were like...ummmmmm

I do the whole "quote Jo" thing to. Once my friend was breaking up with her boyfriend and she didnt know what to say so i told her to tell him "things change your born, you move on, you die, thats life" And this other kid keeps asking her out and she don't know what to say so i tell her to tell him to "blow it out his crank case" lol i also sing the theme song all the time and everyone's like "what it that?"

Sighing! You know the Blair sigh. I never noticed it before but lately I've been doing it a lot. And the twirling too.

omg i ALWAYS do the blair sigh! w/ my friends, parents, everyone! lol!o, and another thing...the another night...my dad was making fun of me (for some reason) and i told him to turn blue! lolol...he didn't get it though..(siiigh) i always quote blair, jo, everyone! lol

I am not a morning person. In fact I have trouble getting up before noon so school mornings are usually a killer. But, the morning after NAN aired "New York New York" I got up an hour early to watch it twice, before school. That's after watching it twice the night before. Also, I've started flipping my hair a lot.

I thought this was a great post, so I'm moving it back up in case some of the board's newer posters what to reply to this.

I do admit that I normaly throw out alot of Jo quotes and I always sigh(or wheeze) like Blair did in The Four Muskaters.

I have my binders COVERED in pictures(collages, really) of Charlotte and a lot of cast photos.

At lunch period, last year, I would sing, 'I luv pawwwris in the spwringtime...I luv pawris in the fall.I luv pawris in the winter when is wisstles I luuuuv pawris in the summer...when it siZzles!" lol...

I often quote FOL and CRACK UP LAUGHING even though no one else gets it.

For my state tests I write about FOL and the actresses...(coincedentally, I EXCELL in writing AND I got the HIGHEST amount of point you can get on my persuasive. Haha! Which was about wearing uniforms, I think...I mentioned Eastland.)

I'm getting red highlights in my hair just to be like...ahem...

I started calling someone JO because they had their hair up almost exactly like hers...

I have daydreamed about working with, "the girls."

I have made a vow that if I ever become an actress I will work with ALL the FOL girls (maybe not Lisa, since she's not acting anymore) at least once.

I quote the show and sing-a-long to the theme song. LOL I used to clap at the end of each episode.

I DID THAT!!! It was about a TV Character we wanted to meet. I said Jo.

I did something today at school that was really funny. I was in Environmental Science when my friend asked me what our new High School counselors name was. Her name is Jo. I can't remember what I was thinking about...Probably FOL...Cause I told her our new counselors name is Jo Polniaczek. My teacher looked up at me and said: No!!! It was not Joanna Marie Polniaczek Bonner!:lol: She watched FOL and still does.

Anyways in the same class we had to put on a card 2 things true about ourselves, and then a lie. People in the class has to figure out the lie. I put on mine:

"My favorite TV show is The Facts of Life"

"I met Lisa Whelchel who played Blair on The Facts of Life this summer."
Those were the true ones. Here is my lie.
"My hair is naturally blonde"....Its not.

Well let's see the craziest thing I ever did, was to learn an episode beginning to end, and say every word of every character out loud, and annoy the HELL out of my family! lol They were like SHUT UP! hehehe then when I was alone in my room, I would practice acting EXACTLY like all the characters on FOL. Right down to there manerisims. I would do it out loud, and then stop cuz I felt wierd talking to myself! lol hehehe

That's funny.
One time, I was going to the store with my mom and dad and I was driving and "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" came on the radio station we were listening to (plays both oldies and new songs). Anyways, I was singing along, then my dad started singing along, and then my mom started singing along. I was just thinking "whoa, cool it's like in Cruisin!" except we weren't cruising...that would just be wrong.
