Alright. How many of us while IMing, in a chat room, on a message board or in an email have written "LOL!" ...and did'nt actually Laugh Out Loud? *I* rarely do.

Most of the time I don't actually LOL when I write it. Now when I write ROFL I am for real.:D :lol:

im usually giggling constantly anyways, but when I'mn really laughing i use the stronger terms :)

When I say lol, I'm not really laughing. When I say LOL I'm like..smiling? I guess. But still not laughing. If I say LOL!!!!!!!!! then I am really laughing. If I say LMAO that means I'm laughing hard. But if I say ROTFLMAO then I'm laughing really hard and can't seem to stop. :p

I type it all the time. A funny story, when I first got online back in 1996, I saw LOL all the time in chatrooms but I didn't know what it meant, I ASSUMED at that time it was a way of saying "droll" in a sarcastic way, I thought it mean like "lull" kinda as a way of saying "Yeah yeah real funny"
