There is a connection between Growing Pains and Family Ties with the children. One in each family is practically a genius, and one is not very bright, etc. So who do you think was:

Smarter: Carol Seaver, or Alex Keaton?

Dumber: Mike Seaver, or Mallory Keaton?

Good at getting his/her way: Ben Seaver, or Jennifer Keaton?

Cutest: Chrissy Seaver, or Andrew Keaton?

Smarter: Alex Keaton

Dumber: Mike Seaver

Good at getting their way: Ben Seaver

Cutest: Andrew Keaton

Ditto also.

Chrissy was not only not cute, but was also annoying in my opinion.

I break down the shows in this way:

Alex was better than Mike

Mallory was better than Carol (although this was a close one)

Ben was better than Jennifer

Andy was better than Chrissy

Growing Pains had the better theme song, the Keatons had the prettiest house, best writing, and best plot lines.
