What happened to Larry Tate (in real life) after Bewitched ended? Did he do any more tv series or movies after that because I really can't remember him in anything other than Bewitched.

He mostly guest starred on various tv shows.
Tragically his son was killed by the terrorist attacks over Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland. According to imdb.com this led David White to be embittered and a recluse. He died like a year or so after it. He probably never got over it. :(

I think Bewitched is his most famous work.

Well, one time, he made an appearence on the show BONANZA, but that's pretty much it, I think.

Apparently David White was still linked with advertising in a way, since he played advertising clients on both The Love Boat and What's Happening in the late 70s. He also appeared in the 1985 movie Brewster's Millions.

I know he was on an episode of "The Twilight Zone" - "I Sing the Body Electric" a pretty weird episode - even for The Twilight Zone ;)

I remember the day he died - I was still in elementary school and my dad picked me up and told me about it. He was the first actor passing away that I remember crying about. :(

Yeah, I love that episode of "The Twilight Zone". When I saw it I was just thinking to myself "that guy is from Bewitched!".

By the way, how did he die?

That was before "Bewitched."
I did see him on an episode of "The A-Team," possibly his last TV appearance.
He was really fun to watch as Larry Tate on Bewitched. Especially when he imagined he saw something (witchcraft).

I'm pretty sure it was a heart attack.

David White (Larry Tate) was also on the short-lived tv series "The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman." He played J. Jonah Jameson.

Yes, David White appeared on a Rhoda episode with Vivian Vance, but I've never seen it. He was 74 when he passed on if I'm not mistaken.

Actually he was in the pilot episode as Jameson and the part was taken over by Darrin's original dad Robert F. Simon. The show aired on CBS from 1977 to '79.
