Most of them are this dull, flesh-like color. My pinky, however's pink. That's what you get for volunteering for 2nd and 3rd graders.

chipped off purple with pink and silver sparkles on every other nail and just silver sparkles on the others. Yeah, its half gone so...

don't you just hate that phase when the nail polish is chipping away... They shold make one strong enough to last until you remove it.:D

What it does is helps your nail lacquer adhere better and itll help it last up 14 days. If you dont use Bond-Aid, your lacquer will chip off the next day. The first 24-48 hours, its still 'wet', so when it finally does dry completely... it chips.

I'm addicted to nail polish. Right now my fingers and toes are metalic silver. Fab color ;) Actually got it for a wedding I was in. I also wear blue a lot and bright green :D

Nothing at the moment. When I do wear polish, it's usually light or pale pink.

actually im a little surprised that they have goten that long. They haven't been this long since I was in High School (6 years ago) :lol: I have been using Sally Henson's strong as nails

I'm trying to grow my nails out - but I always manage to break them somehow :( Right now they're metalic blue :D

I find that if I paint my nails with about 4 or 5 coats of polish it makes them stronger. Like every other day or so add another coat. It does take a lot of time and patience to grow out your nails.

Another thing that I do is pop a vitamin E pill and rub it all over my nails and cuticles and let it sit on there about 5-10 min. That makes them really strong too. :D

That makes them really strong too. :D Well thats because you have 5 coats on and its thick like a protectant. Try going clear for 2 weeks with a nail strengthener. Vitamin E is an excellent idea!:D

I haven't painted my nails in eight years but on and off for at least five but the painting goes away and I completely and totally stopped painting my nails. IMOF, I don't even wear jewerly and/or earrings.

that i dont paint my nails anymore because when i did my normal nail color when from pinkish to orange and i was freaking out because it didnt change to normal skin color for a month or two. oh yeah right now i dont have my nails painted.

At one time i kept my nails painted all the time.....then when i would take the polish off my nails had turned like a yellowish color. I think its good to let your natural nails breath once in a while. Plus polish dries them out.

recently I had real, long, natural nails, but acouple of days ago I cut all my nails short for the first time in months..But when I do have long nails, I usually like to paint them
blood red, which is my favorite or a silver/mauve color...

I like to mix colors too. I repainted my nails last night Cosmic Blue by CoverGirl and on top of that Resort Perle by Loreal :D

My mom loves putting three or four coatings on her nails not only to make them look good but to have the color stay on for a very, very long time!!!

I always paint my fingernails clear to make them look longer. My toenails are always dark red.

I love to paint my toes red :D

My sister loves red, pink, clear, and some other color but my mom paints her nails about three or four times a week!! No!! I am not kidding she just loves to have her nails painted and looking beautiful!!

My nails are a light, shimmery purple color. I'm trying to stop biting them, so they are a pretty good bit longer than they used to be. Painting them is what keeps me from biting them.

I am afraid to paint my nails because the color(painting) would come off easily!!

My nails are tinted red. Its this cool polish by Anna Sui. U can probably get the same affect by coloring your nails with marker, haha. MonarC, you have really lovely nails. Are they real?

I dont have any more nails. They all broke on the first day of my job.

It's OK for the younger girls , just style really not evil or some just wear it to be festive this time of year ! . When I was young and black nail polish first came in it kind of was a rebellion , a way to freak out your parents if you had black nail polish on. :lol: I never really liked it on me , I preferred brighter colors . And now I'm way too old for black nails, orange is fine for Hallo
