Good Afternoon to you all on a Sunday, October 19th, 2003 at 1:32pm Eastern for the news you can use!!

1. The Department of Defense are trying to figure out about whether a new tape for the world's most hated and wanted man who planned the 9/11/01 attacks is really that of Osama bin Laden, who has kept a very low profile since the day before the second anniversary of the attacks when he showed up on another tape like this one. He says That he will attack America and won't stop until America is no more.

2. Less than 24 hours away, NBA star Kobe Bryant will learn from the Eagleton Colorado judge to determine his fate on whether he will stand trial for sexual assault charges on the un-named 19-year old hotel employee. The defense, who were warned to not use the accuser's name, said her name at least six times. They might and could be under a gag order not to mention her name. Trial is very likely since there was enough evidence by the lady's marks bruised and blackened and her clothes with blood.

3. President Bush is on a six nation tour with today beginning the APEC(Asian-Pacific Economic Conference) that will last two days. Bush says he is disappointed that the House will not pass his $87 billion dollar bill to fight the war against terroism in places like Iraq and Afghanastan. He will be out of the country until this weekend and early next.

4. The World Series with the New York Yankees hosting the Florida Marlins will have game 2 tonight at 8:00pm Eastern Time on Fox after the Marlins took a one game lead after winning 3-2.

5. Three more soldiers are dead and six more are wounded badly after a bombing and shooting in the Western Bank in the Afghanastan countries. Over 200 soliders have died since President Bush, on May 1st, declared the war in Iraq, over with.

That is the news so far, check back often for more updates as they become available. Shelby T Mitchell, saying Happy Sunday and Have a God-Blessed week.

Good Afternoon for Monday, October 20th, 2003 at 12:49 pm Eastern Time. This is Shelby T Mitchell and hear is the news for today:

1. John Allen Muhammond will represent himself as his own attorney for his upcoming trial. He and co-sniper and conspirator, William Allen Malvo, will be tried in four states, with two being federal cases, for last year's twenty three days, in which they killed at least thirteen people in those four states, and injuring over thirty. West Virgina will get first crack at the case, that is expected to last up to six-to-eight weeks. All four states, West Virgina, Maryland, Virgina, and Pennyslvania, are seeking the death penalty. The courts rule that Muhammond can act as his own lawyer.

2. The 20-year old college student who delayed several airplanes on Friday as he tried to board a plane with a box of cutters, will be charged with federal charges of illiegally shipping weapons like box cutters on board an airplane, since they are now illiegal due to the 9/11 attacks. The 20-year old college student, says he would never mean no harm and/or any kind of terrorist acts. If convicted, he could face between five-to-twenty years imprisoned.

3. NBA star Kobe Bryant will learn of his fate by the Eagleton Colorado judge whether he'll stand trial for sexual assault charges on a 19-year old hotel employee. It seems likely since there was bite marks and bruises on the lady's body and blood on her underwear and clothes. When and If the trial begans, the verdict is still out. The Lakers and Coach Phil Jackson says they stand and support "Bryant 100% and will work around his schedule to play in games and attend his trial". The woman's friends and family says she is in fear for her life like having her name on the internet mentioned, in which a judge will do his best to erase, and getting hate mail and death threats, mainly from Bryant's die-hard fans who think he is innocent and that she is trying to extort the NBA superstar.

4. British Prime Minister Tony Blair is fine and well having suffering chest pains yesterday. The Prime Minister is under a lot of stress due to his numbers going done in support of the Iraq wars and sticking up to President Bush. He will be in the hospital for at least a day or two. Blair has had no apparent health problems but did seem to have a "little" chest pains, six years ago.

That is the news so far, please check back for more updates and news. Shelby T Mitchell, Have a blessed and wonderful Monday!!  :happyface

Good Morning to all you tv fans & newses!!! Shelby T Mitchell(aka EricIdlefan!!) for the news of Wednesday, October 22nd, 2003 at 12:12 am Eastern Time:

1. The bus driver, who last week, overturned a bus of elemetary school children, on their way to a field trip last week, may be charged with reckless endangerment, when a video, which was broadcast to the whole nation, showed school children on the left side, flip over to the children on the right side. Several children were injured and there is no reasons why the bus driver overturned the bus. School officials think that the kids should have had on seat belts but authorities say that if they had on seat belts, they would be stuck upside down.

2. Pat Sajak and the producers of "Wheel of Fortune" are being sued over an injury that the popular game show host inflicted on a male contestant. The contestant said that Sajak jumped up and leaped on him causing him injury, a incident with which both Sajak and the producers deny and think it is a extortion plot by the contestant to get money from the show and/or Sajak. A Court Date hasn't been set at all, just yet.

3. The Third Game of the Best of Seven in the World Series was delayed by rain for a couple of hours in Florida where the Marlins are hosting the New York Yankees with the score tied at 1-1 and the Series even at 1-1. The game has since resumed.

4. Donald Rumsfield has been getting criticism in defending the President's decision to fight against Iraq. In his daily Pentagon briefing, the Defense Secretary states that going to war against Saddam Huessain was the best thing that the military has done and that the $87 billion dollar measure that President Bush has signed and hope to pass in both the House and Senate will help the innocent people in countries like Iraq & Afghanastan. Rumsfield says the War against Terrorism isn't over until it's over and that the US is still trying to find both Saddam Huessain and Osama Bin Laden Dead or Alive.

That is the news for now. Please check back for more updates. Shelby T Mitchell signing off for now and God bless and Keep everybody on a very great and blessed Wednesday!! :happyface

Good Afternoon and Happy Thursday to Everybody on the Sitcoms Board. Shelby T Mitchell for the news of October 23rd, 2003 at 5:34 pm Eastern Time:

1. President Bush is on his way back to Washington DC after a six-nation tour including stops in the Phillipines, Japan, Korea, and Austraila. He will stop in Hawaii to see the monument of the Pear Harbor Attack. On his trip to Austraila, he was speaking to the Austrailian Parliment when two of the members shouted and heckled him with their opposition on the war with Iraq. They were removed by the Prime Minister.

2. It has been twenty years since the worst attack on Americans that would be eclipsed nearly eighteen years later by 9/11. Over 200-300 soldiers and people were killed as a memorial on the tragic anniversary of the attacks to remember those who gave their lives for the country.

3. Over 300 illiegal immigrants were arrested by Immigration Naturalization Service agents(INS) at sixty-one Wal-Mart. The spokesman for the Wal-Mart chain admitted that they had hired immigrants and even some knew that the immigrants were illiegal and hired them anyway. The people that did the hiring might face charges of lying to federal offficials and harboring immigrants illiegally and the immigrants could be facing deportation.

4. And Hollywood has lost some great entertainers. Fred "Re-run" Berry of "What's Happening" fame on ABC in the 1970's passed away after family and friends say that he suffered a stroke awhile back at 52. Veteran bad-guy and western character actor Jack Elam passed away yesterday due to a long illness at 84. Indy car racer Ryan Gesno(if that is his name) died after running a tire run for an upcoming race crashed into the third lap of Indy Motor Speedway. This was his second year racing. He was air-lifted to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 26 years old.

5. Game Five of the World Series resumes in Florida at 8:25 pm Eastern Time on Fox with the series tied at 2-2 when the Marlins won on a hit in the twelveth inning 4-3. Roger Clemons is probably playing in his last game yesterday in a hall-of-fame career that has spanned over twenty years. It would be nice to go out on top like John Elway and David Robinson did.

That is the news for now but keep checking back for more updates!! Shelby T Mitchell, wishing everybody a great evening and God Bless!! :happyface    :talk:  :D  :p ;)

Good Morning, Happy Saturday, and Great & Blessed Weekend!! This is Shelby T Mitchell for the news of October 25th, 2003 at 1:26am Eastern Time:

1. About a dozen White House employees and aides have been questioned by the FBI over leaks after former UN Ambassodor Paul Bremer's wife, a CIA Agent that was working undercover, which is a federal law not to release the names of any federal agents that are or will be going undercover. Among those questioned are Chief of Staff Karl Rove & Press Secretary Scott McCellan. The White House see this as "overzealous Democrats" want to make the White House and President Bush scapegoats. The White House denies any leaks and said if someone did leak the name of Bremer's wife, they will be terminated on the spot. About six political journalists leaked his wife's name.

2. Just when you thought the fall season would not bring any more forrest fires, well, think again. A firestorm spread throughout the California everglades, about thousands & thousands of acres were destroyed and four homes with it. Also, thousands and thousands of California residents were evacurated from their homes by fire and police authorities. The cause of the blaze is still unknown. But it wasn't discovered until today when a local tv crew discovered the blaze and reported the blaze to authorities.

3. Scott Peterson's hearing was delayed for a fourth time. The man who killed his wife Laci and unborn son has been charged with two counts of first-degree murders, which carry the death penalty, which, not suprisingly, prosecutors are seeking. The hearing will resume on October 29th.

4. The Concord Airplane, which for many, many decades have taken it's final landing. The legendary airplane flew its last mission today and will be grounded permantely due to the engines and mechanical stuff aging. And it sure does deserve it.

5. A student as been expelled for a unspecified time for writing in her paper about killing her teacher. The teacher, who knew it was written with her in mind, alerted the principle and the principle alerted school board. The teen said she meant no harm and likes to be creative in her writing.

That is it for the news so far!! Check back as usual for more updates!! God bless and have an excellent weekend!!

Good Afternoon at 12:55pm Eastern Time for Monday, October 27th, 2003. Shelby T Mitchell for the news you can use!!

1. Over 700 homes in the San Bernado California Everglades have been destroyed in over 15 Wildfires that started on late Friday night early Saturday morning. The fires have claimed at least fourteen deaths and thousands and thousands of residents being evacurated from their homes. When they are allowed back won't be unknown until over 1500 firefighters can die down the fires. It could take anywhere between one week to a month.

2. A New Jersey couple has been arrested over the weekend for starving three of their six adopted children. The Health & Human Services in the state saw that the children, who ages range from three to nine, weighed all together 136 pounds and authorities say that when the parents were gone for a few days, they had no food but had to chew up stuff like plants and stuffed animals. The other children, three girls, were said to be well-fed and eating fast food. The children that starved are in state custody until it can be determined what to do with them.

3. Thirty-one of the forty-six Russian coal miners were rescued after being trapped for days when some big chunks of coal were in the way of the exit. The coal miners story is similar to the one where some Pennslyvania coal miners were trapped over the weekend last year. The coal miners are said to be in good spirits and conditions despite some malnutrition and fatigue. The other remaining coal miners that are still trapped authorities are working to free them.

4. Two more bombs went off in Bagdad that were very big. It killed two and injured over thirty people. There was a bomb on Sunday morning killing three and injuring over fifty. The UN Ambassodor says that when the perpertraitors are found, they will receive severe punishment. So far, nobody hasn't been captured.

That is the news for now!! Please as always, check back for more updates!! Shelby T Mitchell signing off and God bless!!

Good Evening for October 29th, 2003 at 6:31 pm Eastern Time!! Shelby T Mitchell here for the news:

1. Over 15,000 firefighters are working around the clock, 24/7 to get rid of the wildfires that happen to be the worst in California, if not, US history which have claimed the first fireman and over sixteen deaths. 500,000 acres of land, over in-between 650-800 homes destroyed. The arsonist has never been caught, so far.

2. The Scott Peterson pre-limnary hearing is to determine whether he will stand trial for two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his wife, Laci & un-born son Connor. Laci disappeared on Christmas Eve last year. Her family supported then turned on their son-in-law when it occured to them that he didn't seem concern about his pregnant wife and bought stuff for the house like furniture and cars and was talking on his cell phone to his lover Amber Frye before, during, and after Laci's disappearance. Frye's flambroyant attorney, Gloria Allfred has been under a gag order not to discuss the case with her and/or the media as the judge only wants Frye to testify over her affair with Scott and nothing more. Scott could get the death penalty if convicted.

3. Princess Diana's butler is under so, so much criticism about alliegations that Diane knew that she would do and that somebody would kill her because of who she is. The London Monarchy, her sons, Princes William and Harry, and Sir Charles are blashemy the former butler because the monarchy denies ever, ever saying that Diane was "murdered" and that the butler only wants both attention and money off of the book. Princess Diana, along with boyfriend Al Fraed, and the driver, who was drunk, died in Paris on August 31st, 2003 in a turnpike that will forever be known as the crash that killed the World's Princess.

4. The Kobe Bryant case has been postponed from November 10th to November 13th due to scheduling conflicts between going to trial and playing with his team, the LA Lakers. His trial date might be after the 2003-2004 season is over and done. He could face either probation and four years to life imprisonment on sexually assaulting a 19-year old hotel worker last June while he was recuperating from knee surgery. Also, the Lakers fined Bryant over comments he made about his teammate Shaquille O' Neal saying that he would leave in large part after his contract expires next year because of O'Neal's childish and spoiled brat behavior and the reason the team didn't make the Finals last year. Bryant said that he and O'Neal have "buried the hatchet and patched up their differences". Bryant didn't play last night as the season opened on Tuesday due to a sprained ankle. Ironically, he was sitting next to his "foe" O'Neal.

That is the news so far but keep checking back for more updates and news!! Shelby T Mitchell saying God bless and Keep you all and Have an excellent Thursday at work, school, and/or just vegging out!!

1. The Capital had to be evacuated after two females came & snuck a gun by the x-ray scanners and going through a metal detector sounded off. The females and the gun, which was a toy gun after all, have not been caught. The people in the capital weren't hurt and returned back to work. The capital has been under tight security, as with all federal buildings across the country due to 9/11.

2. A Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada collasped when parts of the top of the high rise building collasped and people were scrambling for their lives. The Casino and Hotel was supposed to open in March of 2004 and was still be built when it collasped. So far, no injuries and/or deaths. Thank goodness!! :D :D

3. A federal nuclear plant outside Connerside, Indiana collasped and killed at least four people died and over twenty people were injured. The cause of the fires and the collaspe of the plante had to do with either the weather and/or somebody or someone messed with the things that are part of the building.

4. The California Wildfires, though died down a little, has still a lot of work to do in order for the flames died down, over 600,000 acres of land destroyed, over 15,000 firefighters working around the clock 24/7, over 700 houses destroyed, over hundreds of thousands of people still without a home and/or even a place to go, over nine million a day being spent to put out the fires, which have numbered over 100, and twenty people have perished in the fires. Including the first firefighter who lost his life. Scott Roacher was a married father of two. It will take at least one month to have the fires die down.

That is the news for now but please check back for more updates, including the California wildfires and the Peterson, Sniper, Kobe trials. Shelby T Mitchell saying have an excellent and blessed Friday & Weekend!!! God bless!! :D :D

Good Morning and Happy Late Halloween and Happy Saturday & Weekend for November 1st, 2003 at 2:27am Eastern Time. Shelby T Mitchell here for the news!!

1. A man, outside the courtroom where actor Robert Blake is being tried for murdering his wife, Bonnie Kay Blakely, a man was carrying a tote bag and stuck out a gun. Several people, including cameramen and undercover police, kept the men at bay so that he wouldn't be any threat to either him and/or anybody else. The police & cameramen tagged him and wrestled him down to the concrete sidewalk until he was handcuffed. He might be charged with having a leathal weapon, unlawfully on the court premise.

2. Blake, meanwhile, his handyman was cleared of any and all wrongdoing in the shooting and killing of his wife back in May 5, 2001 when both, who have a nearly four year old daughter, were having dinner at a restaraunt. The prosecutor said that their marriage was in huge trouble even before they were married. Blakely had been arrested over thirty times because of identity fraud and making up alises and claiming that her daughter was not Blake's daughter but Marlon Brando's son Christian, who served a few years in prison for killing his sister's lover back in 1990. Blake will likely be charged with first-degree capital murder, which carries the death penalty but that seems unlikely.

3. The California wildfires are still burning and it will at least take a month to die down the flames. Over nine million dollars spent on trying to die down the blaze, a day, that's right folks, a day!!! Over two billion dollars have been costly for California, over 3,000 homes destroyed, twenty people perished, over 700,000 acres of land destroyed with houses & buildings, over 11,000 firefighters working around the clock 24/7 with little and/or no rest and stopping them as they are using all their energy and strength to get rid of the worst Wildfires in California, if not, US history.

4. Scott Peterson was back in court for a hearing which will likely end in him standing trial for the murder of his wife, Laci & unborn son when both of their bodies were found on April 18th. Laci's sister says that she didn't know that Scott owned a boat and Laci's family said at first they strongly supported and helped their soon to be ex-son-in-law but later turned on him when they suspected wierd behavior when he didn't seem concern about his pregnant wife, who disappeared last Christmas Eve. If he goes on trial, it would likely be next winter or spring. He is facing two counts of capital murder as prosecutors are asking for the death penalty.

5. Carlton Dotson was extridicted from a Maryland jail where he has been from July to a Texas jail to stand trial for the murder of fellow college basketball player Patrick Dennehy. Dennehy was missing more than a month and his body was found back in July, just five miles from the Texas Tech college, which has been plauged by many troubles with both the law and NCAA rules. Dotson said that he & Dennehy, though not close but pretty good friends, had an argument and one of them pulled a gun and fired on Dennehy, killing him. The death penalty is likely.

Well, that is the news so far!! Check back for more updates and news on the Peterson, Blake, Sniper, & Kobe trials & California Wildfires.

Shelby T Mitchell saying Happy Saturday & Weekend and God bless!!

Good Morning! We Have Breaking News to Go with the rest of Today's already busy news day on November 2nd, 2003 at 7:00 am Eastern Time so let's cut to the chase:

Gene Robinson knew what he was getting into when his name and his sexuality was called into questtion by many people in the congregation and the nation. He takes over today or tomorrow.

3. The Helicopter that was shot down was heading for a little R&R when it was shot down as Iraqi was trying to prevent US soldiers from interfereing in their land. Those figures are sadly likely to go up as two very big missiles hit the copters as in all, 35 soldiers were on the copters. This is the worst incident on Americans since March.

4. Kobe Bryant had his first game of the nearly week old NBA season and scored 25 points. Bryant was fined an undisclosed amount of money when he was interviewed about his relationship with teammate Shaquille O Neal but says that they patched up their differences.
