I was watching the episode today where Mallory was trying to impress her friend Sherri Marshall in hopes of getting into a Sorority. My question is, are there fraternities, and Sororities in High School? She was only 15 in this episode, so I find it odd that she'd be joining a Sorority. I thought there were only sororities in College, but I may be wrong.

Are you certain that she was 15? I dont remember any sororities in high school either. What is the episode titled?

Yeah, she was 15. It was episode #15 from the first season, and it's called Sherry Baby. Unless there are High School's that have sororities, I think the writer of this episode made a little mistake.

Nope, high school's can't have sororites/frats. You have to be 18 and over to legally move out, and if you're a sister/brother, you have to live in the sorority/frat house.

I thought so. Thanks for the info Original Prankster! I guess this is just another one of those minor details the writers overlooked.

That's funny. Back then, we didnt think of those things while watching the original broadcast. Of course, now we can see the minor errors in even our most favorite sitcoms. God, I'm old!

I just scanned down the board a bit and noticed that someone had already posted this exact topic. Sorry! I guess I better not take one week vacations from this site anymore. I miss too much.
Actually, I have heard of some High School Fraternities and Sororities, although as far as I know they're more like clubs than the College kind.
