Barry sang the national anthem at a Cubs game (70s night at the park) and wore that cursed tiki idol. Could that have been the Cubs' problem? :) It's easy to blame someone else, like a fan or an idol, isn't it. ;)

The funny thing is, my husband used to live in Hawaii during the time the Brdays filmed those 3 episodes. He said that Tiki idols like that are a dime a dozen at local tourist-trap gift shops! So it's not like it was "extremely rare," as was implied by Mr. What's-his-name at the construction site.

I want one of those tiki idols! Whenever someone I know is traveling to Hawaii I always ask them to bring one back for me, but to this day I'm still empty-handed... what rotten luck! LOL

Thankfully the Chicago Cubs curse finally ended in 2016. Go, Cubs, Go!

Maybe the Tiki idol is the cause of the New York Jets curse.
