I just notice a lot of things about him that i dont like..... like sometimes his comments dont match. and also i've noticed with people like Nikki, Kim Caldwell, etc, that he is so impressed with them in the first few rounds in competition, that he expects phenomenal performances later on, which are hard to give. It's kinda hard to explain, but look at Kim Locke. After Billy Joel week, Simon expected SOOOOO much from her, and its kinda hard to give consecutive classic perofrmances.

Yep, Simon makes things interesting!

No matter if you love to hate him or hate to love him, he makes the show interesting and I am afraid to admit, without him, the show goes to the birds!! Sorry!!

The thing that griped me most about his comments last season though, was that he implied that Vanessa was fat, but never mentioned anything to Ruben, Frenchie, or Kim L. And I didn't like how he said Vanessa was more of a Bette Midler and she didn't belong in the competition. But regardless, he does make the show interesting and without him it wouldn't be as good.

And I must admit, Simon is something of a sex symbol!!

lol. True. In a magazine, they asked him why he told Vanessa, Josh, and Kim Caldwell to lose weight, and not Kim L, Ruben, and Frenchie... he said "You have to be reasonable here. Ruben can't lose all that weight before the end" or something like that. something mean obviously :)

I think Simon goes by talent. Now I admit, Frenchie had talent, as do Kim Locke & Ruben,but in my opinion Kim is not fat. They are really good singers, so Simon doesn't really pick on the good ones. Just my opinion though. Vanessa wasn't that great either...obvioulsy.

I thought Vanessa was good

In an article or something, they asked Simon what Kim should do to make it big or something, and he said "she should lose some weight because she has baby fat on her" or something. Let me go look for it. Its on some Kim fansite...

He may be a jerk, but without him, the show is uninteresting!!
