One thing many of you don't know about me is that I'm really Mel Gibson.

David Reo, a recording artist, was a writer for Happy Days for a season. He answered alot of questions for us on the HD board.

Hmmm, I don't know about these boards but on The Ring forums that I'm a regular on, Daveigh Chase (who played Samara in The Ring) apparently mentioned the messageboard (us posters there are referred to as "Ringworms" :) ) on the MTV Movie Awards. It can be assumed she has been there and maybe still visits as well.

Yes, he is. Chris Korman (his real name) knows Carol Burnett since his dad worked with her, and he has her real address so Penny Lane got into touch with him about getting an autographed picture of Carol for both herself and her granddaughter (I think she said it was?). CArol normally takes a LONG time to get her pics mailed out, but when Penny talked to Chris, Chris got Carol's pics for her in only 3 weeks, both inscribed. I wish I could find the link, but I can't. :( It's somewhere on the Mama's Family board. =/

I've long thought that there are many former or even a few current TV actors who visit SitcomsOnline.
If an actor is unemployed or was on a hit show and is comfortably retired, they have time on their hands.
They're human and curious just like we are, and most anyone would enjoy reading about themselves. Most people have internet access, and this site comes up quickly in most searchs for sitcoms.
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if a few have registered and talked about their shows and their characters with nobody knowing who they are.

Yes, he is for real. He obtained 2 autographed pictures of Carol Burnett for me and they came very quickly! I noticed that he hasn't been on the boards for a long time. All I can say is that I corresponded with him during the picture thing and he came through! But I haven't heard from him since. I will have to admit that I was skeptical at first but He is for real! Here is the picture that I got from him from Carol. She even wrote my name on it! Cool!:D

There it is! I tried looking on the Mama's Family board for that story, but couldn't find it. :crazy: I love that story- he is such a neat guy, and extremely lucky his dad worked with a comedy legend! :)

You could try writing him again and tell him to come back here- I did a profile search for him and the last time he visited was in June. :(

This is something I've always wondered, whether they be from current or past shows.

I can imagine someone retired from show business just taking it easy and discussing some shows here that they were once a part of.

Several years ago Harvey Korman's son posted. He was ridiculed by some posters.I learned later on that he has some kind of learning disability and I really don't remember just what he was being teased about but he stopped posting all of a sudden . His screen name was "Harper". He and I messaged for a little while. I told him that my granddaughter and Carol Burnett have the same birthday and that she is a big fan of Carol's. So he(knows Carol) obtained 2 autographed pictures of Carol and mailed them to me. We were both thrilled. It was really nice of him. I could tell he was a "little slow" but he is a really good guy. I felt bad for him being heckled.I can't remember who was teasing him but after he left the boards I informed everyone that he indeed had some kind of disability.

He told me that he hated his dad's "Ed Higgins" role because he thought it made his dad look really stupid.

I hope wherever he is now that he is doing well.:)
