Whoa, this is a hard question. If it were the 80s or 90s Id have a ton I stand stand -- or even the 60's, but the 70s-- that was the good stuff.

Mork, Barney Miller, WBK, 3's Co -- 70s was the bomb.

Technically they did: The Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour on ABC in 1982. Animation by Hanna-Barbera.

I can see turning Fonzie and Mork into a cartoon, but not Laverne and Shirley

If I recall correctly there was another Laverne & Shirley cartoon in the early 1980s revolving around the two title characters getting drafted. It sounds hard to believe but I'm almost positive that's what the show was about.

They also made Fonzie & The Happy Days Gang

I had to go to the 70s board to check. Some of them I don't remember. I think Mary Tyler Moore was overrated but I wouldn't say I hate it. The only one there I really hate is MASH. That show is very depressing.

I see more shows I don't like in the 80s 90s and now.

Did you like Rhoda, Chico and the Man or That's My Mama?

jamesanthony

I don't remember any of those shows. Rhoda was on in syndication about maybe 7 or 8 years ago but I didn't watch it then or at all in prime time. I don't think I watched Chico much because I have virtually no memory of it and all I remember of That's My mama is a joke about Ted Lange's character streaking (running through the streets butt naked was a fad around 1974).

From the 70s I like Good Times, Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Odd Couple, Taxi, Barney Miller, Brady Bunch, Room 222, Kotter to some extent. Some shows I liked more then than now and vice versa. Barney Miller wasn't interesting to me until I grew up and got the jokes. Three's Company is Ok now but I like most people loved it during its original run.

I don't understand your atatement about Ted Lange's character on THat's My Mama

jamesanthony

From That's My Mama I don't remember anything about the show except a joke Ted Lange's character made about taking off his clothes and running down the street naked. People used to do that in the mid 1970s. They called it streaking. I haven't seen that show since it first aired in prime time. I must have been about 7 then.
