well, as a rock fan. I admit that I really looked down on him when he did a "song" on the VH1 Music Awards late last year about all the musical events that happened in 2002. And I was really ticked when he said something like "Rest in peace Left Eye and Jam Master Jay", yet he said nothing about Layne Staley, who I'd say his death was sad to as many rock fans as JMJ was to hip hoppers or Left Eye's was to r&b/pop fans

I like him. He was great on Whose Line is it Anyway? and I liked his short-lived ABC variety show. His talk show is pretty good, too, IMO.

I wouldnt call him an idiot, but I dont think he is all that funny.

Wasn't Layne Staley's death due to an overdose, while JMJ and LeftEye's deaths were due to murder and a car accident, respectively? That's not a slight, just asking. I figure people were more aware of the latter two deaths because of RunDMC's history and TLC were still a relevant group at the time. I don't think overdose deaths like Layne Staley's or Shannon Hoon's are typically looked at in that same respect.

As for Wayne Brady, sometimes he's too Vegas cheesy for me, but I do like him on Whose Line Is It...

^Yeah... JMJ and Left Eye had a bigger impact on music. They've touched more lives.

But back on topic... I think Wayne Brady is great, but I don't watch his show. Once he stops the over-singing... I'll gladly watch.

I think he's a very talented and funny guy, and he was always my favorite on Who's Line...

Did ya'll see that skit that Dave Chappelle did with Wayne Brady on Dave's show? That skit is funny as hell. People in the skit were afraid of Wayne Brady. When this black dude saw Wayne passing by in a car at a club, the dude said oh s**t there goes Wayne Brady hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

yeah...JMJ helped bring rap to the mainstream...we really owe him one.

I, as a white person don't really like him but I thought the episode of Chappelle's Show that he did was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life! :) :lol:

I've heard of him before but Chappelle's Show is the only thing that I've actually seen him on before.
