Absolutely! In fact, the only time she wore her real hair during these 3 series, to my knowledge, was in a few episodes of the 62-63 season of TLS...they had to "tape her face" up into the wigs, not to mention shoot with a filtered lens to make her appear younger...

Lucy skin bruised easily so she couldn't have surgery (not to mention the fact that she was really afraid of plastic surgery). That option was out, so she used the wigs to lift her skin temporarily for all of her public appearances including her tv shows.

She began using the wigs during the run of The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.

She had to wear her own hair when she would get dunked in water like in that duck hunting ep of the Lucy show and also showed her real hair in one ep of Here's Lucy where she brushes it while in bed with the broken leg. Irma says it wasn;t just the tape face lift contraption, that even on I Love Lucy, it would take forever for her hair to dry after some scenes and the audience would have to wait all that time, which makes sense.
