If you were to be a teenager in every generation starting with the 50's, what things from that time would you be obsessed with? Like now you might love Christina, Avril, Punk'd, Chicago, etc.. but what about back then?
1950's: Elvis. I love Elvis now and he'd be an even bigger obsession had I seen him when he was just starting out. Id also like Fabian, and that kinda music. I Love Lucy, James Dean, and Marilyn Monroe, Leave It To Beaver are also my biggies. Id also be going to all of the diners and have tons of poodle skirts and saddle shoes!
1960's: Id be really into the Beach Boys and surf music. Gidget, Brady Bunch, Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched. Id probably be into the Beatles too. Id be into the 'pop' music, the British invasions, and a lot of the motown.
1970's: Ron Howard. Lordy, Id make it my mission to stalk him or something. Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company, Jeffersons, Welcome Back Kotter. Id be really big into disco... KC & The Sunshine Band!, and ABBA. Grease too. Id be psyched to see Elvis back in '68 and into the 70's.
1980's: Wonder Years, Madonna, Culture Club, Phil Collins, Cindi Lauper. I never liked them before, so I probably wouldnt like New Kids On The Block. Id watch The Cosby Show and Full House too. Pee Wee and Beakmans World... or was that the 90's?
