Well dont forget about the Panthers, Colts, and Broncos just yet ;)

But it is a combination of Holmes/O Line, Green, an improved defense and most definetly special teams. And dont forget coaching, Vermeil I dont really like on a personal type level, but he sure knows what he is doing. He was also the first special teams coach in the history of the NFL.

I'm not ready to say they are the best team in football until they play Minnesota.

Well we don't know who the best team is because Carolina and Minnesota are still undefeated

To help with this debate, I throw this in the mix:

Carolina was losing to Jacksonville with :20 left in the 4th. 4th&11. If the JAX D hadn't messed up right then, the Panthers WOULD have lost to *Jacksonville* (A team who's currently 1-5, though, with a little more effort, could be 4-2 right now)

We dont really expect Carolina to keep winning..

I still think it's too early to tell. I've seen teams start out 5-0 and not even make the playoffs.

They may very well be the best team now, but who knows who will be the best team come December and January.

The 1972 Miami Dolphins(who still hold the record for the undefeated season at 17-0) better feel the pressure and pray that the record isn't broken!!

Well i don't see any tough games on the Chiefs schedule so they may go 16-0.

Here are the reasons why:

1. Preist Holmes
2. A healthy Trent Green
3. Donte Stallworth
4. The offensive line

think it's a lot of pressure to win every week. The more games KC wins the higher expectation for them to WIN IT ALL. So as long as they remain undefeated they will be expected to go to the Superbowl. TOO MUCH PRESSURE

the superbowl winners don't even consider themselves the best team in football..just lucky. anybody can win on any given sunday. The goal is to win the superbowl.
