Here is something that happened on Full House the show that would confuse the viewers at home.

In an episode from Season 4 Jessie goes to his High School reunion, a few seasons later he revealed that he never graduated High School, and went to night school to get his diploma. Also in season 4 he mentioned that he refused to wear his cap during the graduation ceremony, because he didn't want to mess up his hair.

This show is full of mistakes, but that one should never have made it on the air. They mentioned Jesse graduating twice, then they make a big deal about him not graduating so he returns to night school. Do they think we have amnesia?

Yeah...I think it must be manditory for all sitcoms to forget something they mentioned years earlier. At least Michelle didn't go from 1 to 6 overnight like some shows.

Jesse's graduation has come up many times throughout a few different Full House boards. I agree it's a blaring mistake. But, here's how I try and explain it away.

Maybe Jesse lied about his cap. And perhaps he just wanted to see his old friends at the reunion. Remember, he dropped out his senior year. He was almost finished.

Very lame excuses, I know. It just helps with continuity.

What shows are you talking about?
Just to name a few.... on Growing Pains, little Chrissy went from baby to spunky preschooler overnight, as did little Andy on Family Ties. I'm sure there are more examples.

I personally hate it when shows do that. I know most tv shows call for a little suspension of disbelief but this is just such a obvious "that-could-never-happen" that it makes it impossible.

A few more examples of fast growing babies. Lilly on Step by Step, went from a year old to 5 years old. Richie on Family Matters, went from about a year old, to 3 years old.

Nicky on Fresh Prince also grew real fast...
