WOW, check THIS out!
A seller had an original NBC press kit for "Wings" listed on eBay....filled with B&W 8 x 10 glossy photos of the cast (both individual and group shots), cast bios, color slides, etc....all in a folder with the "Wings" logo on the cover.
The bidding really got hot and heavy, and the press kit ended up selling for $117.50! (The starting bid was $25).
Here's the eBay item# if you want to check it out (just log onto www.ebay.com and go to "Search":
Item# 2562944530
It's nice to see that "Wings" can generate that kind of interest and heated eBay bidding....
Take THAT, Nick At Nite!!!!! :p

Peter, you may not have thought that the kit was worth $117 (and understandably so), but it's nice to know that there are fans out there who are willing to shell out that kind of money for the Nantucket gang!
Who knows? Interest like this could start "Wings" items being auctioned off at those classy, upscale auctions where they auction off items from the Kennedy family, etc......I can hear it now:
"Ladies and gentlemen, next we have for your bidding consideration this item from the classic television program "Wings"....A necktie worn by Steven Weber in his role of Brian Hackett....As you can see, this tie is bright orange with purple zig-zagged stripes and green polka-dots running through it.....Certainly an attractive accessory for any smart men's ensemble.....Let's start the bidding for this fine item at $200...Who will be the first to bid?"
Hmmm...We could be ON to something here!

If I could bid on Ebay, I'd wait for a bundle of Thomas Haden Church's infamous "Sexy Lowell" 8x10 photos.

I've purchased several Wings-related items on Ebay over the past year. Most of the Wings items for sale on Ebay are glossy photos of the cast, which I'm not interested in, but I have bought the following:
A classic Wings t-shirt, which has the show's logo on the front.
A baseball cap with the logo on it.
Mousepad with the picture of the cast in the hangar posed in front of the plane.............this came with a set of coasters of the same picture. This seller also custom-made a t-shirt of the same picture for me.
Probably the coolest item, a large black leather travel bag with the Wings logo stitched on the side. This was claimed to be a cast/crew gift from one season.
I've noticed Wings auctions typically do not draw a lot of attention & I didn't have to bid high on any of these items. Other items I've seen for sale are pilot's wings with the logo, TV GUIDE mags when the cast or Crystal was on the cover, and every now & then episode scripts (which I suspect are just copied versions & not the real deal from the set).
