View Full Version : Richie cheating on Lori Beth
Dr. Thong 10-11-2003, 08:05 PM I thought it was interesting on the season six premiere that Richie felt guilty over his feelings for the ranch girl Thunder (I think that was her name) because he was seeing Lori Beth, but in the season seven premiere, it didn't bother him at all when he and Fonzie pursued the Swedish girls on that farm.
I know in-between Richie kissed another girl and he and Lori Beth were broken up for all of ten minutes, but there seems to be inconsistency here.
And I can only wonder what happened when Richie went overseas!!

robyrob 10-11-2003, 11:04 PM Richie was a slut.
Fonzie shoulda had that talk with him about treating women with respect a long time ago....
Adam the Great 10-12-2003, 01:08 AM Interesting point on Richie being a cheater. Here are some more. In episode Casanova Cunningham, Richie dates Corrine, the baton twirling, finger kissing girl, from Michigan. He winds up making out with her, but feels very guilty about it. He tells Lori Beth about it. Lori Beth is more angry at him, becuase he lied ot her, since he told her he would be helping out the police in a squad car. Of course they get back together with Fonzie's help. But in the epsisode "Richie Falls ln Love", Richie goes to the Phfister Hotel bar, orders a root beer. A girl named Barbara Thomas, comes in an also orders a root beer. Richie starts to talk to her. She is a photograher. One thing leads to another and Richie and Barbara go upstairs for a "nightcap". So I guess Richie was definatly "finding his thrill and Blueberry Hill", lol. Richie goes home, and tells everyone that he and Barbara are going to Venice, Italy. Rich and Fonz go back to the hotel, so he can introduce Fonz to Barbara. The bartener gives Richard a note from Barbara saying that Venice was cancelled. Richie feels disappointed about not going to Venice with Barbara, but shows no guilt about cheating on Lori Beth. Then in the episode "Father and Son" Richie and the girl who poped out of the cake, are up in in Howard's & Richie's hotel room. At first Richie was going to read her some of the jornalism articles he had written, but then they start kissing, and if Howard didn't barge in, Richie again would have "found his thrill on Blueberry Hill. Once again, Richie shows not guilt on what he did to Lori Beth.
animalcrackers 10-12-2003, 08:28 AM Richie learned from the best - Fonzie.

I had forgotten about those episodes, which, as I recall were towards the end of Ron Howard's run on the show. I guess once he got over the initial guilt in the earlier episodes, he was able to fool around with no conscience. I guess he did learn from the master...Fonzie.
Of course, one can go back to the fourth season episode where Fonzie allowed Richie to use his apartment to make it appear that Richie had his own place to impress a girl. When Fonzie later came up to warn them the girl's father was looking for her, he asked Richie where his jacket was. When Richie replied it was inside the bed/sofa, Fonzie proudly replied "That's my boy!"
