Okay this idea just came to me for whatever reason so I started writing and couldn't stop. Let me know if you like it and if you want me to continue it...

(Scene opens in the cafeteria. Lunch has just ended. Natalie is at the library. Tootie and Jo are finishing the lunsh dishes, and Blair is wiping down the tables while Mrs. Garret reads in the lounge. Blair is looking forward to seeing her parents in the next few days, and all the girls are ready to enjoy a long weekend after a busy week.) NOTE: They have no idea how different life is about to become…

[Phone begins ringing in the lounge]
MG: I’ll get it…Yes, just one minute…Blair the phone’s for you…
B: thanks Mrs. Garrett [takes the phone] … Hello…hey Gerri, how are you? Sure I’ll talk to your mom… Hello…what…what (Blair clearly is shocked) OK…yeah…I’m fine…when…OK…OK…how are you?It will be OK. Look I have to run talk to you later…Bye [blair hangs up the phone quickly and walks out]
MG: Blair would you…Blair? Where’d she go? [Jo and Tootie walk in] Girls have you seen Blair?
T: No
J: Why did she skip out on kitchen duty?
MG: I don’t know she took a phone call and then I came to get her and she was gone [Natalie comes in] Natalie have you seen Blair?
N: Yes I just saw her get in her car and leave.
MG: Did she say where she was going?
N: No but wherever it was she was in a hurry to get there
J: Maybe it was a sale (laughing)
MG: I hope so…(to self) I doubt it though [Blair comes back a few hours later. She looks like she’s been crying] Blair are you OK? [no response. She grabs her apron and begins cleaning tables and filling salt shakers]
J: where were you was there some big sale (blair doesn’t acknowledge her)
N: Blair are you going to let her say that… [Still no response. Blair just stares blankly while she works not seeming to hear anything]
MG: Girls it’s time for dinner
B: I’m not hungry…I’m going upstairs
All: OK [Blair goes upstairs]

(at dinner)
MG: Girls something is wrong with Blair it must have something to do with the phone call she got.
T: remember how she reacted when her mother’s doctor told her that her mom may have had breast cancer.
MG: You’re right tootie it’s a shock behavior like that. She looked like she’d been crying and you all know how she doesn’t do that unless things are really bad.
N: and she skipped dinner…she wasn’t here for lunch either
J: I’m sure Blair’s fine you know how she likes attention
MG: That’s true but this time she won’t accept it
J: You’re right…well whatever it is I’m sure it will come out eventually
MG: You’re right; in the meantime girls just give her some space. Let her know you’re there but don’t crowd her [they finished dinner cleaned up and got ready for bed.]

(Upstairs)
[The girls have all climbed into bed. Blair was already there when they got upstairs. She was laying there with her eyes open]
N &T: Good night Mrs. Garrett
J: Night Mrs. G
MG: Goodnight girls…Blair, I’m down the hall if you want to talk (Blair stayed quiet)
T: What’s wrong Blair you haven’t said anything all day?
N: You haven’t eaten anything either…talk to us (Blair remained silent in her bed)
J: Leave her alone guys… Whatever is wrong with her I hope it only lasts a few days?
B: (to self) If I’m here in a few days [Blair waited for the other girls to go to sleep and then slipped downstairs.]

SO what do you think?

It's very interesting and I am curious to see where this is all going. You also ended at a cliffhanger so I'm also anxious to read more. I think I know what's going on with Blair though. Continue Please, I like it.

here's some more hope you like it...

(downstairs)

[She poured herself a glass of water and got some pills out of one of the cabinets she also grabbed Mrs. G’s not pad and walked into the lounge.]

J: Blair? [Jo notices her bed is empty and precedes downstairs]
B: (to self) How could you both leave me at the same time? I need my parents and what do you do you both die. I’ve lost my family but don’t worry guys I’m going to join you soon. (she looks toward the pills) But first I have to say good bye (she begins to write a note to her friends:

Everyone,
I know my death will come as a shock, but I have to be with my family. My parents died two days ago and I can’t go on without them. I’m not ready to be on my own and carry on the Warner name. I wanted to thank all of you though for being my surrogate family we’ve been through some hard times that I couldn’t have handled without you guys. Ms. G you have been like a mother to me and I will always love you…thank you for taking me in. Tootie and Natalie you girls are like my little sisters always full of fun and support. Tootie we got through a flood together and Natalie you and I have weathered our own storms. Thank you both for being a part of my life I know you will go on to do great things. Jo…I know we have had more than our share of fights but it is within you that I found a best friend. I will miss trading insults with you and trading secrets you are closer to me than any of my snobbish friends. Stay just who you are though an updated wardrobe wouldn’t kill you. Just kidding. I love all of you and hope you can understand in time that I had to do this.
Love, Blair N. Warner

J: (jo now walks into the room) Blair
B: (a little startled) have you been listening?
J: yes, and I’m so sorry, but I’m also really glad I heard you because you can’t do this you can’t end your life. We are family and would be lost without you. I know that we fight but you are also my best friend. (Blair’s eyes fill with tears) I wish you would’ve told us what happened so we could have been there for you
B: I didn’t want anyone to know. I wanted it to all go away..(tears trickled down her face) why did it happen?
J: I don’t know but let's talk about it together
(They talked for awhile until Blair began sobbing. Jo didn’t know what to do so she just held her friend and let her cry. Blair fell asleep in Jo’s arms so Jo just sat there. Then Blair sat up suddenly and grabbed the pills)

B: I have to join them…Jo I have to
J: Blair please put them down. We’re here for you…we are your family and we need you (jo was crying now too.)
B: you do?
J: Yes, Blair don’t make us lose a member of our family
B: I can’t do it…(She threw the pills and the bottle and collapsed to the floor sobbing. Jo held her rocking slowly back and forth until she could regain control. She was clearly exhausted but could barely stand. Jo helped her upstairs past the others who were standing in the kitchen clearly wanting to know what had happened and into her bed. Blair was asleep before her head hit the pillow. Jo quietly closed the door and went back downstairs to talk to the others.)

What do you think...

Here's some more...

(downstairs)

J: She’s sleeping now so everyone stay quiet
T: What happened?
J: SHHH go to the lounge (they all walked into the lounge) Blair’s parents are dead
N: What?
MG: what happened.
J: I don’t know how here parents died but I realized Blair wasn’t in bed last night so I came down to find her. She was sitting here in the lounge with a bottle of pills in front of her writing a suicide note to us.
T: suicide?
J: Yeah Tooty I’ve never seen her this despondent she said that she’d lost her family and wanted to be with them. She said that she would have to take on the family name and wasn’t ready for those expectations. I came in at that point and talked to her. She cried for a long time while I held her and at one point she was asleep and the next she was panicking saying she needed to join her parents. I told her that we loved her and were like family and begged her to put the pills down. Her hand was shaking so she threw the ones in her hand and then the bottle across the room. She fell to the floor again and I held her until she regained control, then I took her upstairs and here we are.

(from upstairs)

B: (Screaming) Mom Dad where are you (the girls all run upstairs to find Blair eyes still closed crying)
MG: I’m here Blair wake up
B: Oh Mrs G ( she cries in Mrs G’s arms until she once again falls asleep. Everyone leaves)
MG: We can expect a lot more outbursts like that girls
T: that was scary
N: I don’t like seeing her like that
J: None of us do but we’ll just have to be there for her. (they all go back downstairs to get some work done.)

(downstairs)

MG: Girls just keep busy there’s nothing more we can do. We need to find out what ahppened.( the phone in the lounge began to ring and Mrs. G quickly answers it so it won’t wake Blair) Hello Gerri, Yes…it’s awful...she’s resting right now. I’ll tell her…What? OK I’ll pass along the information and have her call you. OK…thank you… bye (hangs up the phone)

(Blair comes downstairs she can’t sleep for any length of time without seeing images of her parents)
MG: Blair that was Gerri on the phone apparently your parents left you as sole executress of their wills so there are some things that need to be done.
B: (her whole demeanor changes) OK I’ll start making the arrangements. (with that Blair runs upstairs and is back downstairs dressed and ready in ten minutes. She grabs her coat and walks out the door. She come back on and off but just to make a phone call or finish typing the obituaries. She has arranged various florists and musicians. She is working at a non-stop pace and the girls are worried. She breezes back in to take a call and then is out the door again. )
T: Mrs G is she going to be all right?
N: She hasn’t stopped long enough to eat
J: Yeah I know she hasn’t eaten in awhile. What concerns me is she’s so together and last night even this morning she was in shambles.
MG: She has somewhere to focus her energy it’s a distraction from thinking about what happened so she is throwing herself into it.

(Blair got back late. She was clearly exhausted and went straight to her room.

T: we were getting worried...
N: Yeah where have you been?
J: Guys leave her alone…Blair are you okay?
B: Just fine lots to do.. but I’m beat now…night everyone (she waits until they are asleep and then slips back downstairs to work on some things)
J: (Wakes up and notices Blair isn’t in her bed. She goes downstairs and sees Blair working on more arrangements) Blair you should really get some sleep you’re going to have a busy few days in front of you
B: I’ll be up soon I just need to finish some things. You get some sleep Jo I’ll be fine (Jo reluctantly goes upstairs)

(The girls wake up to see that Blair’s bed has not been slept in. they hurry downstairs to find her making more lists and drinking another cup of coffee. Clearly she has not slept and has been crying)

J: Blair can we help you with something. You want breakfast or anything?
T: Yeah I can make you some eggs
N: and I’ll get you some orange juice
B: I don’t need anything. I’m going to pack for the train. Just leave me alone!!
(Blair runs up the stairs and slams the door)

(Downstairs)

MG: I’ll talk to her girls (runs after Blair and knocks on door and opens it) Blair can I help you pack?)
B: Get out and leave me alone Mrs. Garrett (Mrs. G leaves quickly; Blair throws a shoe at the door and Mrs. G hear’s it hit.
MG:(with tears) Oh, Blair why won’t you let us help?
B: Everyone leave me alone (shouting) I don’t need any help

(The girls hear this outburst from downstairs and go running upstairs)

MG: Blair we want to help you, not for your sake for ours we need to be doing something
B: I don’t want help. I don’t want to see anyone. I want to be left alone I have so much to do and have to make the train in two hours. (walks over and locks the door)
Ms. G: (hears door lock) Blair!
Jo: Blair open this door you know we don’t lock doors here
B: I don’t care!!! (breaks down in heavy sobs) My parent’s are gone what does it matter?
(The girls look helplessly at the locked door while they hear Blair crying in anguish
T: Why won’t she let us help? (tearing up)
MG: Sometimes people are hurting so bad that they can’t let anyone else near them
N: Is she going to be OK?
J: I hope so Nat, I hope so (tears in her eyes)

(Inside the room)

B: Why won’t they just leave me alone I know what I’m doing everything is under control. (the room suddenly turns cold)

(outside the door)

They no longer hear Blair crying. in fact the silence is creepy
All: Blair!!!
J: Blair come to the door…talk to us
T: Say something…!
MG: Blair Nicole Warner if you can hear us give us some indication now!!!

(inside)

Blair taps the wall but otherwise is in shock she looks as though she’d seen a ghost
B: Moooommmm…Blair says voice trembling

(outside the room)

The girls hear this…
J: Is she seeing things Mrs. G
MG: I don’t know…Blair, hunny, open the door lets talk
B: Go away mom is here!!!
T: What is she talking about?
N: I think she’s lost it
MG: Girls go get something to open this door we need to get to her…NOW
J: come on Nat and Tootie (disappear down the hall)
MG: Blair, sweetie, open the door I want to help you finish packing so we don’t miss your train…Blair!
{Blair’s eyes are fixed open and she’s staring at her bed…the cold leaves the room and Blair begins to cry again}
J: We found something…will this work?
MG: Yes (she takes the key and quickly opens the door) Blair…what happened?
B: I don’t want to talk about it. I finished packing let’s just go (she stands up grabs her bag and walks past her friends)
T: Did you see her face?
N: Yeah she looked like she’d seen a ghost..
J: Knock it off guys Blair’s having a hard time, let’s leave it at that…

(At the train station)

MG: we’ll be up first thing tomorrow morning
J: Don’t worry I’ll take care of her ‘til then (Jo had decided to go with Blair. She was worried about her and didn’t want her to go alone)
N&T: Bye. Blair…Bye Jo…take care of her
J: I will…we’ll see you tomorrow bye (Blair stood there motionless as the train pulled off)
MG: (looking up) God please get her through this...

Here's more...

(On the train)

J: (directs Blair to their seats and takes her bag to stow it for the trip) Blair..why don’t you try to get some sleep it’s going to be a busy few days…
B: I don’t have time there’s to much to do. I’m Blair Warner I have to get my act together before I see the rest of the family. They are expecting me to be put together and I can’t disappoint…(whispers) I just can’t..
J: OK..will you at least eat something. You want to be able to stand when you see your family (half joking half serious she hadn’t seen Blair eat in a few days)
B: I’ll eat some crackers will that make you happy (says sarcastically)
J: Yes, I’ll get you some
The rest of the trip was quiet. Blair was busy trying to hide her exhaustion with make up, and Jo read Popular Mechanic to pass the time since Blair clearly didn’t want to talk.

(arrive in NY)

Gerri: Blair !! and Jo!! How was the trip?
J: No to bad caught up on some reading…
B: It was okay just glad to be off of it
Gerri: How are you doing cuz?
B: Fine, you know me…where’s your mother?
Gerri: Over there (Blair quickly walks toward her Aunt) How is she really Jo?
J: Pretty bad, but she doesn’t want the family to know that…
Gerri: I was afraid of that you see Blair had always been the strong one…keeping it together after her parent’s divorce and always just getting through the hardships of the Warner family
J: That’s why I came with her she’s not very stable now and I didn’t want her to make the trip on her own. Don’t say anything though because being strong right now is the one thing she is trying to get control of
B: Come on girls we have a lot to do….I’m so sorry Aunt…(her voice trails off)
Gerri: This is going to be a long few days
J: You don’t have to tell me. I know… (they all leave)

(at Gerri’s house)

They all enter to find other family members there waiting to see Blair.
Fran: Oh Blair bebe I was so sorry to hear they were such wonderful employers
B: Thank you Fran and you were a wonderful nanny (Fran had been Blair’s nanny when her parents were married)
Mat: Blair sweetie how are you holding up?
B: I’m OK Uncle Mat… I just want to get things in order. Oh… (Blair remembers Jo is standing near her) Everyone this is Jo Polniazek a friend of mine from Eastland
All: Hi Jo..
J: Hello everyone!!
Gerri: Blair Jo why don’t we get your things up stairs and get you something to eat after your long trip
B: I’m fine Gerri…I have some things to get done. Jo you stay here and enjoy some food (looking around) we have plenty…I’ll see you later. Gerri make sure Jo feels at home… Bye everyone I’ll be back soon
All: Bye Blair… (Gerri takes Jo upstairs)
Gerri: OK Jo tell me the truth how has Blair been doing?
J: She tried to kill herself the other night…she didn’t tell us anything about her parents so we had no idea. Then earlier today before we left Eastland she locked herself in our room and wouldn’t talk to any of us. She yelled and screamed and then was quiet for awhile we got the door open and she was standing there like she’d seen a ghost. She didn’t want to talk about it grabbed her bags and we left. She said little on the train trip and you’ve seen her since.
Gerri: I’m worried…
J: Me too

(The streets of NYC)

Blair wandered the streets for hours. She went into Bloomingdales to relive precious shopping trips with her mother. She wandered down Broadway pausing in front of each production she’d seen with her father. He always told her that theatre was important to experience not just attend. She closed her eyes and remembered that in the theatre was where she had true time with her father, no business calls just father and daughter together. A few tears trickled down her face
B: (to self) Hold it together you are the strong one. Your parents would expect nothing less.
Unknown: Nicole darling…
B: What? Who’s there??? (no response) Blair kept walking it was getting time to head over for the viewing. She walked toward the church. They were using St. Patrick’s Cathedral to accommodate all the people that would want to pay their respects. Blair knew that her grandfather would be there and that she needed to be especially strong for him.

(Standing outside the cathedral)

B: This is it go in there and be who you’re supposeed to be. (Looking toward the sky) How could you do this? Wasn’t splitting them enough they had to die to…
Gramps: Blair! (interrupts her thoughts)
B: Grandpa!!! (she hugs him tightly never wanting to release) How are you holding up?
Gramps: I’m OK sweetie, how are you?
B: Fine grandpa let’s go in so you can sit down…

still enjoying it...

(Inside the cathedral)

Blair couldn’t believe her eyes there were people everywhere. Business associates, family friends, domestic servants, and numerous others she hadn’t seen in years or had never met. Jo was standing next to Gerri and they were both relieved to see that Blair had made it.

Gerri: We were just about to give up on you cuz...where were you?
B: I was just remembering…( remembers she is holding her grandfathers hand) Jo this is my grandfather David Warner Sr.
J: Nice to meet you
B: Grandpa this is Jo Polniazek a friend of mine from Eastland
Gramps: (Hugs and kisses her) A pleasure to meet one of my baby’s friends…I only wish it was under better circumstances
B: Well I have a lot of hand shaking to do would you (to gerri) please get grandpa a seat towards the front.
Gramps: Blair, I would like to see my son first…
B: OK…are you sure? (she says a little shaky)
Gramp: Yes and I think it’s time you see your father
B: No I’m not ready…
Gramp: Blair you have to face it and I need you with me when I do
B: (sighs) well if you need me... then I’ll go for you
J: Blair you’re going for him…do you want me to go for you?
B: Thanks Jo but I’ll be fine…(she walks toward the front with her grandfather. The crowd around David Warner’s body scatters to give father and son and daughter and father alone time)
Gramps: (looking at body of his son) David I’m here son...Blair’s here too…I love you son and will miss you (tearing up)You’ve raised a great daughter and she will carry on the family name proudly. (Blair’s tearing up as she sees her now lifeless father) So don’t worry anymore son…just rest peacefully. (Gramps bends forward and kisses his son’s forehead. Blair can’t keep tears from trickling down her face but wipes them away) Blair, do you want to say something? (she couldn’t not yet she needed to be completely alone)
B: Not now but I will don’t worry. Let’s get you a seat now...OK?
Gramps: all right sweetie…(Blair hugs him as he cries)

(People come and go for the next few hours and Blair greets each of them. Gerri and Jo watch her carry on)

J: I never realized how strong Blair was
Gerri: She’s always been that way for the family. I don’t think you realize how much she’s depended on by everyone…
J: I guess I didn’t….I just saw her as a spoiled rich kid with no problems (thinks to self) Boy was I wrong.
B: Thanks for coming…I’ll see you tomorrow…Bye

(Every one leaves and Blair is alone with her parents)

Blair walks back towards the front each step heavier than the last until she is standing between them. Her eyes well with tears and she gives up trying to hold them in

B: (to father) Dad I don’t think I’ve ever seen you rest before today…you have always been on the go and busier than any other man I’ve ever known. You were my rock…I never wanted you to be anything more to the outside world but I wanted you to be my daddy. That was never easy I know because you were so busy. You always took care of me though…always (sobbing now) I went to some of our theatres today daddy. They aren’t the same without you. They never will be that was our place…Your princess misses you daddy more than I could’ve imagined. I’m still your little girl and I need you…(a bit of anger) how could you leave me to carry on the family name when I’m still a kid myself? I don’t know what to do I wanted to lead my own life I wanted to become something on my own. Now…(crying again) I don’t know what will happen I don’t know if I’m as strong as I need to be. I still need you but I know you’re gone now…(crying) So I wanted to tell you that I will never forget you, not for a minute, you will always be my daddy and I will always be your princess… (Blair leans forward and kisses her father’s cheek lightly and whispers) I love you Daddy. (she then closes the casket for the last time and cries on it)

(Jo has been listening in the back of the cathedral. She didn’t want to leave Blair completely alone. Jo is softly crying as she sees Blair bent across her father’s casket.)

J: Poor thing…one goodbye down and one more long goodbye to go…

Here's more...

(Blair eventually lifts her head off her father’s casket and walks over to her mother’s casket)

B: Mom…(Blair is crying hard just to get the word out) Why did you have to go too? You were my best friend…the only constant in my life. We talked about everything…remember when you and I got through your breast cancer scare. After that I thought we could handle anything together. We aren’t together though you’ve gone on and I’m left to handle it all on my own. I want you here with me (a bit of anger) how could you leave me…I need you…Mom you were my world, everything I did was to be more like you. You told me that I could be anything and all I ever wanted was to be you. You the one who stayed who always made me a priority. I went to Bloomingdales earlier today…no, I didn’t buy anything, a first I know. You weren’t with me so it lost its exhilaration you made my life and now I’ll have to make my own. I have to carry on the family name for daddy but for you I’m going to carry your spirit (sobbing by this point) because that’s what I loved most about you was your spirit and sense of fun teamed with responsibility. I’m going to try to do that for you, and you are going to live each and every day of my life with me here (covers her heart). On my wedding day I’ll look for you and when I have my first child you’ll be there and when it’s time for me to go you will be waiting with open arms. I look forward to my life but also to my return to you. (Blair leans in and kisses her mother on each cheek, the way mom had kissed her) Your spirit is now a part of me I love you…(she closes the casket and sobs uncontrollably)

(Jo crying herself knows that Blair needs someone right now….She walks quietly toward her friend)

J: (whispers) Blair...I’m here
B: (sits up ready to wipe her eyes) Who?
J: It’s just me Blair no strength necessary (Blair relaxes and continues to cry. Jo kneels down next to her and puts her arms around her. Blair resists at first but then gives in and cries. Jo simply rocks her back and forth slowly stroking her hair) It’s OK Blair it will be OK…(to self) I hope…

(The next day is the funeral and the cathedral is once again packed. Mrs G Tootie and Natalie have arrived and the preacher is concluding his sermon.)

P: They will forever live on in the hearts and minds of all those here and have already found there own peace, Funerals are really for the living to grieve. Their daughter has a few words for her parents that she would like to now share

(Blair stands up N, T, Mrs. G, J, and Gerri all share a concerned look)

B: First let me thank all of you for coming…I know my father would hit everyone up for charity donations when there are this many of you in a room (some people chuckle) but not today. Today we are all here to remember Monica and David Warner, my parents. They weren’t the ideal parents and as you all know we had our share of problems, but they were and are mine. They will always be the people who raised me and provided for me making me what I am today. They sacrificed their happiness for me staying together as long as possible trying to make it work. Mom was my best friend (voice starts to tremble but she continues) I hope for everyone out there you find a connection like that and treasure it the way I have and will. As for dad any one who knew him knows that he was the biggest business tycoon busy all the time and had a harsh exterior.
The man I want you to leave here knowing is my father, he was busy this is true but he was always busy doing for others. Charities, telethons, trips to other countries to stabilize them financially, and the occasionally random handout to someone in need; these were his specialties.. He gave of himself every day of my life. I learned to treasure every moment I got alone with him. (starts to cry) David Warner was a dynamic man but also a dynamic father I always knew his love everyday. He showed me how to love by the way he loved his own father (looks at her grandpa) and I realize that every one I meet I compare to him because he was the best of the best and no one will replace him.
Those ladies and gentleman are my parents, my life will continue because they will always be with me.(pause) I’m eternally grateful for the fact that this is not goodbye because I will see them again they have already placed my reservation (slight chuckle) and I won’t be late for my next dinner date with my parents...(looks up tears in eyes) I love you guys…

(The crowd is silent as Blair walks back to her seat shaking. If this had been any other occasion there would have been a standing ovation everyone was so touched…there wasn’t a dry eye in the cathedral.)

MG: (Through tears) That was so beautiful…
J: (to self) she made it through…
Gerri: ( rubbing Blair’s back through her tears) That was a great tribute Blair…I know your parents are smiling down on you right now.
B: Thank you…I just wish they were actually able to hear it and were here with me…(starts crying again…Gerri tries to comfort her)

(After a few concluding remarks the family is escorted out. Mrs. G, Nat, Tootie, and Jo also walk out. Blair has become very quiet almost stoic…)

T: Mrs. Garrett is she OK?
MG: It’s been a long few days she’s just emotionally and physically exhausted. (to self) I hope that’s it…

(At the Gravesite)

This was a very short service for family only. Some of her parent’s favorite verses were read and their songs were sung. Blair was bombarded with the “I’m so sorry” phrase time and time again but was gracious each time. The other’s noticed Blair would shake from time to time…
J: Blair…are you cold?
B: Yes, I’m freezing
MG: Here Blair take my wrap (it was hot outside but Blair was clearly cold)
B: Thank you (Blair felt the same cold she had in her room and then again in the church but didn’t want to say anything)
{The service concluded and once again everyone left. There was going to be a gathering at Gerri’s so they left Blair with her friends so they could set up. Blair laid a single rose on each of her parent’s caskets. J, N, T, and Mrs. G waited patiently until she was ready to leave.}
Unknown: Princess…
B: Daddy!!!
Unknown: Darling
B: Mom!!!
MG: (with concern) Blair what’s wrong…are you ready to go?
B: In a minute (to self) I know you guys are trying to talk to me keep trying and I promise to respond (Blair turned from the caskets tears in her eyes as they were lowered to there final resting place) Stop!!! (blair screamed and ran back towards her parents)
MG: Blair (running to grab her by the shoulders) they’re bodies are gone now but they’ll always be with you. Come on sweetie (supporting Blair and turning her around; Blair was sobbing and trenbling) A little help girls
J: OK…Blair just lean on me (Natalie and tootie led the way as Mrs. G and Jo helped Blair to the car)

Hope this holds you guys because next week is really busy for me but I'll post after that...

(Gerri’s house)

{When they walked in the house was already full of people. Blair hugged and kissed gramps and then excused herself and went upstairs.}

J: Where’s Blair?
Gerri: She went upstairs a little while ago. She said she needed some time…
J: Well I’ll give her another few minutes then I’ll go check on her

(Upstairs)

{ Blair is looking at herself in the bathroom mirror her eyes have giant bags under them, her complexion is flawed, and her usual Warner smile is no longer present. She looks like she’s aged years in a few short days and doesn’t know what to do about it}

B: (to mirror) I look so bad…how can I look like this. A warner doesn’t look this way, a warner doesn’t act this way. Why can’t you keep it together (hears a knock on the door)
J: Blair?
B: Yeah…(to self) can’t I be left alone…
J: You OK?
B: Just fine Jo…my parents are dead this is the happiest day of my life (sarcastically) How the hell do you think I am?
J: Do you want to talk?
B: No (opens the door and breezes past Jo and back downstairs)
{She plays the perfect hostess for the next few hours and once everyone is gone she sits staring blankly at the wall. Her friends walk over)
N: Blair we’re going to head back but you call if you need anything…(hugs Blair who’s softly crying) I love you..
T: You’ll get through this…we’ll help any way we can…Love you ( hugs Blair who tightly hugs back)
MG: I can stay if you want me to sweetie
B: That’s OK you go take care of Eastland…those girls won’t last without you. (hugs Mrs. G) But thank you for the offer.
MG: I’m always here for you…I love you. Jo are you coming back with us or staying here.
J: I think I’ll stay for a bit as long as that’s OK
Gerri: It’s fine Jo
B: You don’t have to Jo…I’ll be fine
J: I’d feel better I’ll do it for me OK?
B: Whatever…I’m going upstairs bye everyone (Blair goes upstairs)
J: She will be OK won’t she Mrs. G?
MG: In time…in time. What she needs now is rest and time to process it all. Take care of her and we’ll see you back home soon. (Hugs and kisses Jo then Gerri)
Gerri: Thanks for coming everyone I know it meant a lot to Blair and to me too.
All: We love you Gerri (they each hug her and then leave for the train station)

(Upstairs)

{Blair is alone, the room is cold and she is beyond exhausted. She’s laying down eyes fixed on the ceiling}

B: (to self) I can’t remember the last time I laid down…I’m so tired but there’s still so much to do. I don’t have the energy to do it. (praying) God, I know I’ve been angry with you but I need some strength right now. There is a lot for me to do and right now I don’t think I can do it. Please help me to do and be what my parents would want…Amen (By the time she was done praying her eyes remained closed and she fell asleep)

(back downstairs)

J: Should we check on her?
G: you go, I’m going to help mom finish putting away things down here (Jo goes upstairs) Mom, how can I help?
Jo quietly goes upstairs and knocks lightly on the bedroom door before entering. She finds blair asleep and still trembling. She is still wearng the wrap Mrs, Garrett gave her but Jo decides she must still be cold so she goes to get her a blanket. Jo covers her friend being careful not to disturb her.
J: Sleep well Blair… you need it (Jo notices as she leaves that the room Blair is in is much colder than the rest of the house, but thinks little of it and goes back downstairs.)

(downstairs)

G: How is she?
J: Asleep…finally
G: good, her grandpa fell asleep over in the chair and mom also went to grab a nap
J: Maybe you should too I’ll keep an eye on things
G: Are you sure?
J: Yeah go ahead I’ll watch television or something
G: Okay..thanks..night
J: sleep well Gerri (Gerri heads up to her room and Jo turns on the TV)

(upstairs)

Blair is restless tossing and turning…Her dream is intense
Unknown: Blair darling I’m here
B: Mom…where are you? Come here where I can see you
Unknown: Princess come to me…
B: Daddy, show yourself (blair is wandering through a forest, she can here cars up ahead and that is also where her parents voices seem to be. She continues walking towards the sounds…All of a sudden she’s in the backseat of her father’s car and both her parents are in front)
Monica: David turn on those windshields wipers it’s really starting to poor
David: quit being a side-seat driver…(turns them on) You know I was thinking about Blair the other day…how did you and I end up with someone as precious as her.
B: I'm here mom and dad right here (they couldn't hear her)
Monica: You know she’s the one thing we both did right. With all our problems I wouldn’t have traded Blair for the world. I would do it all again even knowing the hardships just for her.
David: Me too…I’ve always felt guilty that I haven’t been there for her as much; if I could I’d be there everyday she truly is my princess and means the world to me.
Monica: Me too..thank you David for helping to create our daughter
David: Thank you Monica for being there for her. You know a part of me still loves you…
Monica: I love you too..(leans in to kiss him) DAVID WATCH OUT!!!

More to come....Tell me what you like so far

By request here's more:

(at diner)

J: Gerri let’s head back
G: OK (they return moments after Blair left)

(the streets)

Blair wanders through the streets heading towards the cemetary she feels drawn there ever since her dream.
B: Mom! Dad! I’m coming (she whispers)

(Gerri’s house)

J: I’m going to go check on Blair (jo runs upstairs)
(upstairs)
Jo opens the door to Blair’s room and sees that she is not there
J: Blair!

(from downstairs)

G: What’s wrong Jo?
J: Blair’s gone
G: where did she go?
J: I don’t know but we better find her
G: I’ll tell mom..you grab our coats (jo grabs their coats and they are out the door)

(cemetary)

Blair wanders in shaking from the cold and walks towards the fresh mounds of dirt.
B: My parents were killed after they had finally made peace with one another (she whispers through tears) Why? (looks up) Why would you take them?
Unknown: Sweetie it was our time, but it’s not yours. Your father and I love you more than life itself.
Unknown: That’s right Princess, you made our lives worthwhile and we will always love you and watch over you…
B: I need you guys (blair screams into the darkness)
Then suddenly Blair looks up and sees that her parents graves which moments ago were mounds of dirt are now covered in grass and flowers. In the dirt that remains WE LOVE YOU BLAIR is written.
B: You guys are here (Jo and Gerri heard Blair scream and are now approaching her) You really are. There’s something more that I want to say to you…I LOVE YOU BOTH and I always will, but now that I know you are here with me (hand over heart) I know that I will have to go on with my life. Best of all I know that I will go through it with you guys…I LOVE YOU…
J: Blair (whisper) are you OK?
G: We were worried…
B: I’ll be okay guys…I’ll be okay (Blair hugs both Jo and Gerri and they let her cry for a few minutes. Then the three walk out of the cemetery and back to Gerri’s where Blair goes upstairs and sleeps soundly for the first time.)

I hope you enjoyed it...I had fun writing it.
