I just had to share this with you all because of anyone I know, you all would appreciate this.

My husband was playing the piano for a wedding today at our little podunk church (actually the church is very large, but the town is small... but I digress). We both went to the local college about 23 years ago with one of the uncles of the bride. He was a tenor and a tuba player in the music department with my husband. We always hung around together in college, but then we graduated and life went on. Seems this guy moved to NYC in hopes to get a career started singing opera with the NY Met. He is working for the Met in the costume department and singing part time with them and other groups. Anyway, he came to sing at the wedding and it was like old home week. I asked him where in NYC he lives and you are not going to believe this ladies.... He lives on 186th street in WASHINGTON HEIGHTS!!!!! I was like OMG OMG OMG!!!! I mentioned Freddie Prinze to him and he said he really liked him and knew he was from there originally. Then he turned and introduced his roommate to us. He is Puerto Rican and sounds JUST LIKE FREDDIE. I was having palpitations!!!! He doesn't look like Freddie, but when my friend told us he was 61 I nearly died. This guy doesn't look a day over 40. He has medium length curly dark hair and not a wrinkle on his face. He works with the NYC Ballet. He is really a handsome looking guy. I was flabergasted. You just never know who you will run into that has some connection with Freddie. Even tho these two guys didn't know Freddie personally, they are both artistic fellows, live in Washington Heights and one is even the same nationality. So how about that for a small world! LOL

I didn't think to take one (I was only at this wedding because hubby was playing), but I work with one of the grandmothers of the bride (she is the head cook at our school). Maybe I can ask her if anyone took a picture of the these two guys. If so, maybe I can get a copy and then I will scan it on here. But I dunno......
