Okay, I was just wondering how the subject of Casey being gay came up because I never saw that episode.

In the scene where Jinny and her dad and brothers were playing poker, she mentioned about her investigation about a college boy who was murdered because he was gay (that was what she thought the motive was anyway). Her one brother John starts this gay bashing thing, of course Jin and Casey get him to stop. That was when Casey wanted to meet Jin privately, to tell her first that he was gay, since they are close and he knew Jin would accept and love him no matter what.

I'm not for sure, because it's been so long since I've seen it, but I think Jinny had a case where a gay man got killed for being gay, she told her family at Poker Night, Casey calls her the next day, they meet, he tells her, they talk about it, then he tells the family at the next Poker Night. John Jr. is pissed, tries to beat him up, Jinny splits it up. It was a great episode.

john jr. did semi-beat casey up. jinny told magda the next day about casey needing 18 (i think that wa the number, i may be mistaken) stitches.

Sometimes that episode is offered on ebay. It was part of some lifetime set...

Yeah John Jr. knocked poor Casey good, and at one point kicked Jinny hard in the stomach, and it hurt the next day. Magda noticed and asked what was wrong, Jinny told her at the same time she mentioned Casey getting the 18 stiches (I think that was right too). I've seen that ep. on ebay quite a bit. I don't think they ask much for it either, like 4.99
