Why did they write off Cindy Snow?? I thought Jennilee Harrison did a great job and should've kept coming back regularly. Why did they take her out?? She was funny!! :confused:

Some of the funniest episodes were the ones with Cindy, but not necessarily because of her - they just were.

Jack playing his twin brother. (I love when Furley is drunk at the end!)

The one where Jack pretends to be dead to get away from a guy who is after him.

The one where Jack and Janet think Cindy has been kidnapped.
That is the most suspenseful ep.

I love all of the ones with Cindy.

I love the part when Cindy laughs because she sees that Terri opened up the jar of molasses when Jack couldn't. Or when Cindy and Janet fall asleep on the couch when Jack brings a date home and then Cindy yawns loudly and wraps her leg around Janet's neck and then they try to escape by crawling to the kitchen. FUNNY!! Cindy's clumsiness was very funny to me!! One more thing:Remember the episode where Jack swore to be honest but lied to Mr. Furley and Janet said she was proud of him and gave him a nudge on his chin and Cindy tried to do the same but ended up punching Jack and knocking him out!! FUNNY!!:lol: :happyface

I guess it was because they just didn't need her anymore, they had Terri now.

I keep hearing that Jenilee was a bad actress.

Well, the producers chose her out of many others. Why did they pick her if she wasn't experienced? Also, in the Three's Company movie, they showed the producers telling her to overemphasize everything, so she was just doing what she was told.

Near the end of Cindy's stay on the show, I noticed that her acting got better in just a little time. She would have been fine if they allowed her to continue.

Yeah, I agree!! Jennilee was good considering she was so young(only 22 at the time) and she had huge shoes to fill on Three's Company and she did a great job at it. They should've given her more time!! She was great!!

It worked real well when she would come over to the apartment every now and then. Not too much, not too little.

But she didn't have any experience... she was a Rams cheerleader... and her clumsiness got annoying after a while... like that ironing board scene... that looked like it really hurt... there was one scene where it looked like Cindy was giving Jack a wedgie or somethin...

Cindy was FANTASTIC and her episodes were among the best!!

I think Terri was the best roomate overall since she could be funny, smart, and goofy/dumb depending on the episode.

Cindy was the second best roomate and Suzanne Sommers was the WORST.

So how come when Chrissy was on TC, the ratings were up, up, up? And when Cindy and Terri were on TC, the ratings were down, down, down? Lets face it, Jack was the star, but many people were waiting to watch all of her Chrissyisms. And at least Suzanne Somers had some experience... She was on American Graffiti and on Starsky & Hutch. Jennilee Harrison was on a cereal box... You do the math...

Vegas girl, I agree with you 100%!!

I think that Jenilee is a good actress, its just that the Cindy character was just a mess, and the producers kept telling her to exaggerate her lines, which to me didnt do anything for her.

I'm not saying that it's a peaceful world and that there is no such thing as perverts, but, IMO, Chrissy was SO much betta then Cindy or Terri... I believe I once read that Jenilee was kept on the show for season six because there was the chance that Priscilla Barnes would not be accepted by the audience. Since Priscilla was accepted by the audience, they chose not to renew her contract.

That's a matter of opinion, of course. Have you interviewed everyone who likes Chrissy? I'd hardly call Suzanne or Chrissy a bimbo...Chrissy was naive, yes, but not a bimbo. And she wasn't posing nude at the time...the pictures published during her run on TC were from the early seventies.

OMG! Sean Snow, you are now my new best friend! I put a lot of these points on this post but nobody listens to me!

IMO, Chrissy was funny, Cindy was funny and so was Terri. However, I understood why Chrissy left but Cindy didn't have to leave. She could've been a regular even if she came and went with only a few lines, I'm sure that was affordable because otherwise, TC wouldn't have so many guest stars on the show. I still think Cindy could've stayed till the end!! She was always funny!! But that's IMO!!

how did that episode "Janet Wigs Out" end? i only saw the first half. i heard janet yelled at everyone or something and then cindy left? can someone explain? thanks...

Janet became a different person and didn't even realize she hurt Cindy's feelings. Her date didn't like her anymore so he left her at the Regal Beagal and while looking at herself in the mirror she realized she was looking at a different person and then Larry sees that she's leaving and asks "Where ya going?" and Janet tells him "To say good-bye to this wig and hello to Janet!" and then everyone applaudes cause they're happy she's going back to the normal person she was!! And that was the likeable and cute Janet! Then the tag scene has Jack dressing up like a pimp or something to get Janet to change and she laughs and then he begs her to take the wig off and she agrees!! It was a funny one but I read that Joyce DeWitt hated doing that episode and was in tears about it all during rehursals!!

I loved Cindy, was so-so on Chrissy and thought Terri was simply the worst character the show EVER had,,,they didnt want a third "dumb blonde", so they gave her NO personality at ALL!!! After about 1/2 a season with Terri, i stopped watching that show forever ( Though, like Happy Days, I did go back to watch the final ep )
