L&D: Before the Laughter or Lucy? I've seen Before the Laughter, but not Lucy.
BTW, Anyone looking forward to the live CBS 75th Anniversary Special to air November 2nd. Every night this month between 8 and 8:30 there will be a promo highlighting a classic CBS moment, I only saw Tuesdays which was on Walter Cronkite's coverage of the moon landing.

Neither was terrific, too many errors in both. I haven't even had the urge to watch LUCY a second time, never a good sign! But i did see the Before the Laughter one again and it wasn't as bad as i remembered it. The actors were good in both though. Hey, does BLT stand for Bacon Lettuce and Tomato? LOL!

I saw a clip last night during Survivor about the premiere of All In the Family but I didn't know what it was for or that it was every night.

They were both horrible! I'd have to say that "Lucy" was better though. You could tell that they actually researched a bit and tried to get some facts right (unlike Before the Laughter, which seemed to make things up, and get way too many facts wrong). It took me two years to actually sit down and watch BTL, I could hardly get through the first five minutes. That's JMO though, some people who don't really know that much about Lucy might like it (if they can get over the fact that the actors looked NOTHING like the people!) lol.

I totally agree Amber, I really have no desire to see either one more than once. I'd also say "Lucy" is the "better" of the two, but I still could make a page long list of errors from that movie. That's just my opinion though, so don't let me influence you into not getting them if you really want to see them. I guess I also just really didn't like the fact that other people were portraying Lucy and Desi. I mean, I think that one of the points of "classics" are that they can't be recreated.

I saw Peter Boyle talking about All in the Family.
