Can someone give me a quick synopsis please?

you go to nbc and read the synopsis there, there is also a link on nbc where u can read the letter that carter wrote to abby. the synopsis on nbc is pretty good.

Abby get's a letter from Carter, which practiacally the whole staff get ahold of, and then she goes to see Luka up in recovery. Pratt goes to dinner with Chen and her parents, and then they aparently break up. Rocket gets a hook, which that was a disaster! Kerry and Rocket fight, in front of really small kids -- ie! Dorset and Corday start banging each other in his or her car (nasty!), some nurses go on strike, and get suspended for 90 days, which the 3 main ones were Lydia, Yosh, and Connie (don't know where Chuni and Helah are!), and no one listens to Abby in the trauma room, and then the kid that got shot ends up dying. How's that?
