That's right. Just like Andy, Boots will be getting her own show. Gertz will star in the Paramount Network TV comedy "True Love," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Love" tells the story of two couples, one recently married and the other recently separated. Gertz' character has just broken up with her fiancé and is on the road to new adventures and self-discovery.

Just thought I'd pass that on!

Maybe you should also post this on the Square Pegs site because Jami was much more a regular there(Muffy)than in FoL.
I also remember Jami in the 1991-92 show Sibs.
Jami Gertz is one of the few cast-members of Square Pegs who have gotten other roles since.

Well apparantly Sarah Jessica Parker is the biggest star to come out of square pegs, Jami Gertz and Tracy Nelson would both tie for second.

I posted it here because a lot of people liked Boots on Facts of Life--and a lot more people would find out about it here. I didn't watch Square Pegs so I don't know how much of a role she had. But thanks for the suggestion.

It's about time she got her own series. I think she deserves it and should've had more appearances on TFOL.

You're 100% right, ThomasE. And she was pretty good in Twister, too for those who saw it.

Yeah, three people out of a pretty small cast is quite a few people to make it off of a show that only ran for one season. And Jamie pretty much played the same character on both FOL, and SP. Boots, and Muffy were so much alike. I'm glad she is going to be on her own show though, I like her.

What happened to this show?! I don't remember seeing it. I would have remembered, too.

All I remember is "First Years" With Astin in it. Did you know the set of "First Years" was the house setting for FOL? Yup. Saw it in an interview with Astin in the TV Guide
