hey everyone,
ok, i don't wanna start a big argument w/ mrs. garret fans (because i DO like her, don't get me wrong) but in saturday nite's eps (the ones she wasn't in), i have to admit i sort of liked them better. sometimes she got on my nerves, so these episodes were nice, sort of focusing more on the girls w/out mrs. garret always involved. (i thought they were really funny eps). anyone else think so?

Blair: Another brilliant idea just popped into my head.
Jo: Oh, don't scare it! It's a lonely place up there.

Well, I've noticed that to me the episodes aren't as funny without her sometimes. For instance in New Girl 1, Mrs. Garett made the joke about meow mix -- that was hilarious. The only thing I don't like about her is when she does that shakeing head thing..lol..

Blair: You don't see me getting all upset when people tell me how gorgeous I am!!

Blair: Blah, Blah, Blah. Emily Dickinson.
Jo: It's freezing. Jo Polniceck.

Blair: I have another one of my brilliant ideas!

In the last few episodes w/o Mrs. Garrett I noticed that Blair and Jo seemed to get along better. Almost as if they had to act a little more mature since there was no Mrs Garrett to mediate any possible fights between them or to keep an eye on Nat or Tootie who were still in high school.
It seems as if Charlotte Rae missed alot of the episodes in Season 6 and 7. I wonder was she just getting tired of the weekly grind of doing the show or maybe she thought the girls were getting too old to need her which I think was the excuse she gave on the E! Special for finally quitting the show. Also makes you wonder if Seasons 8 and 9 would've been any different without Beverly Ann although BA was more of a friend to the girls than a Mrs G-like surrogate parent.

Tootie: Muffy? Her name is Muffy? What kind of person is named Muffy?
Jo: Beats me, Tootie.

I agree about Blair and Jo acting nicer to each other.I miss Ms.G in the later seasons but I like to see how the girls solve there problems w/out Ms.Gs advice and I kinda like to hear BA long stories even though they can sometimes be wicked annoying.

Jo:I don't know you got to admit:Force has some good points.
Blair:Jo's hoping to attend the Chuck Norris School Of Law.
Blair:If I don't spend money soon, well I'll just pull all my hair out.
Jo:Good,we'll finally get to see what color the roots are.
