:barf: Hang in there, Rob! My dad had a cyst removed from his neck earlier this year...it was huge, he said. Four-plus inches! :eek: But he's OK now and his scars have just about pretty much healed (that was in April). :)

You see, Vicki only performs in "underdog" towns, the ones that doesn't get much attention, since the others like San Francisco, etc. always gets the great shows and stuff. In May she performed in my town which is considered an "underdog" town, at the casino there. The public relations manager came up to me after the show and asked me if I wanted to go backstage and meet Vicki and I said "YES! Please!" so she gladly took me backstage. :D No security, nothing. ;)

And the town she's performing in again in January is another underdog town. ;)

Oh yeah! Now I remember...The only major cities she does is Las Vegas (she was in LV doing her first show the night Roy got mauled by their white tiger, actually) and the famous Mohegan Casino in Connecticut. But other than that, it's all underdog. I admire her for doing that. :biglove:

This is a change of scenery... No more gettin' to see Mary post those great Elvis pics in her thread. No more Harris and Banner's Love-In.. no. more. randoms. Some big time stuff must've gone down for the Random Board to be shut down. But like Mary said, least we still have some place to gather together.

Ok, now that I've mentioned it to Tara, I have to talk about the dream I had about y'all last night.

Everyone was represented by a castmember of Felicity, and we were all in this really big school. We knew each other well, but the only way we'd talk is on our computers, surrounded by cubicles. Mary was putting up a post that asked everyone in the community (SO) to pray for her so that she'd get those Elvis CDs and DVDs she'd been hoping for. When she got 'em, she put up another post thanking everyone, and said, "See, told ya I'd get 'em.. I knew those prayers would get me through." What was sorta strange was that when you'd go to look at the posts in each thread, it was like standing in the airport where you look up your flight schedule.
