I know that this has benn covered, but OMG!!! Last nite, I was watchin the FOL Marathon thing, and it was like 12:30 and it was the one where Nat goes to NYC. I was watching it, and at the beginin when BA and Jo were liftin up the couch, I was like "who's that with the long hair?" (JO)
When They showed her face I was like Holy S**T!!!! Jo was sooooo different!! She acted Differnet and dressed Different from the Jo I know!!! I've never seen the 7th or 8th season soo her hair came as a surprise to me. But I think her hair looked good!!

I know what you mean about Jo's look during the later seasons. I've seen all the episodes during the very first run and I loved the long-haired Jo look during season 8 & 9. She's so beautiful and her green eyes just add to the entire look..if I were a guy...

I think that the writers wanted to show how Jo had matured into a beautiful woman..ugly duck turns to swan theme. Even her clothes were 100% nicer than previous seasons.
