Okay, my sister takes her 9 mo. old daughter (who at the risk of sounding biased, is THE GREATEST BABY IN THE WORLD) to the Doctor for a checkup.
The doc says to my sister. "Your daughter's head is a little big for a girl her age. I would like to do a CAT scan on her in a few months."

I'm not a parent, but when the words "your daughter" and "CAT scan" are used in the same sentence, you tend to get a little worried.

So naturally, my sister is completely freaked out, and now thinks something is wrong with her baby.

Now, I come from a big headed family. My brother has a big head. I myself have quite a large melon. Believe me, my Mother has reminded me and everyone she knows how large my head is, so I think it's no cause for concern. Still, my sister is concerned.

So, if any parents out there in Sitcoms Onlineland have any baby advice to give to my sister, I will pass it on.

And if anyone else out there has a huge head. I feel for you man...

Oh man...I don't know if I have a big head or not!

Seriously though, if big heads run in the family, I wouldn't think it's a great concern. Not all people grow at the same rate.

Hi, I'm Max and my body is too short to support a big head!

Ugh! Doctors delight in their ignorance and lack of bed-side manner! He didn't even bother to look at family pictures!

Big Head too. (Got a family full of small heads, and I'm the sole exception)

Don't have a big head myself, but when he was a kid, my cousin sure had one! Me & another cousin used to tease him-
think of a profile photo: we'd say his head started at the base of the neck (the back) "straight, then going up, it's round, then straight, then round, then straight, then round"! Man, we were mean!

My dad and one of my brothers have big heads. In fact my sister-in-law was freaking out when she got pregnant anticipating giving birth to a big headed baby! Well, her baby had a big head but he is 6 now and doing just fine. Sometimes these doctors are so irritating when they scare these new mother's like that! I am sure she will be ok. And you said that big heads run in your family(no surprise there!)
