I don't like him much either, but this movie was pretty good.

Has anyone seen his "Tribute to the Greatest Song in the World" video? Pretty funny.

and their always glad you came..."

SNL has always been very good to the show and the cast...almost everyone has hosted it once...and they've done numerous sketches with the show..

It was hilarious. I'm not a big Jack Black fan, but he was really funny. I loved the kids. They were great, especially Freddy (played by Kevin Alexander Clark.) I thought he was adorable in the movie, but I checked imdb and he's only a about a month older than I am . But that is a good thing.:D:eyes:

I saw it yesterday because Scary Movie 3 was sold out, it was an alright movie... I mean i liked it, but it wasn't as funny as i thought it was going to be. It grew on me. Jack Black wasn't my favorite actor. I didn't like the beginning but by the end it had won me over, but it still wasn't as good as i wanted it to be. I give it a B-

When it comes movies with kids in them, I'm a tough room. It's not always the actor or actresses fault, it's usually the direction or the script. The kids have lines that are either too adult sounding, which comes off as pretentious and phony, or they are sugar-sweet cute, which I can't stomach.

In this movie the kids were joyous to watch, and realistic enough that I liked them all. They played off of Jack Black's 'fun as a roller coaster' humor perfectly. I loved laughing to tears througout this movie. When I went in to the theatre I was down in the dumps about something. When I came out of the theatre, I was still residually down in the dumps:( (Some things just won't let you go, you know). :) but I had laughed so much that I felt like I'd been through some fabulously earth shattering therapy session! :talk:
