When I was a cashier in a grocery store I asked a lady from Florida if she wanted her pop bagged. She got all defensive and started yelling, "it's sooooooooda!!!!" It kind of startled me but I stood my ground and told her in WV that we call it pop, not that I really cared but I don't like being corrected especially by people that aren't from around here, and she calmed down.
