I know it's been out since 2001. I got a Nintendo 64 earlier this year. They stopped making games for that system since around 2001, when the GameCube came out. Nintendo 64 didn't offer a lot of games but there were quite a few that were great. In that sense, it was sort of like Xbox for the late 90s.

I think at one point, Nintendo started releasing colored Game Boys when it became popular. I think they came in green, yellow, red, and possibly blue from what I remember. I can't remember the exact time they marketed these, though.
