Does anybody have a "hang out" sort of like Cheers....I hang out at my local starbucks alot....i can't convince the lady to start a tab though.....I have to work on my Normisms....lol

Ria 10-07-2003, 06:57 PM I hang out at a bar in the square that is seriously so much like Cheers--you even have to go down a set of stairs to get there b/c it's underground (ironically, right below a restaurant). I started going there b/c one of my friends is a waitress and now I know all of the bartenders and get at least one free drink every time I go (which is NOT every day, unlike Cheers, more like twice a week). There's even a sketchy guy who always drinks beer at one end of the bar--not to imply that Norm is sketchy of course. . .;) barwars 10-07-2003, 07:10 PM F**cking gang problems dont let "hang-out" places happen. There is no "Sizzler" There is no "The Max" There is no "Cheers" AND, we cant go to the mall after 4 without our parents on the weekends. But, Im always looking. Me and bunch of friends do hang out at this one kid's grandma's house. But, its no Cheers.
