I don't know if any of you are familiar with this, but there was a short film about Batman relasesd at the San Diego ComicCon this past summer called "Batman: Dead End" that has recently been playing on some of the more "fly-by-night" websites on the internet. For those of you wishing that Hollywood would do a decent Batman adaption, this short film, produced and directed by a former designer at the Stan Winston Studios named Sandy Collora, actually got it RIGHT!!---the costumes, the mood, the characterizations of Batman and the Joker---and he did it for a FRACTION of the cost that the big studios like Warner Bros. blew on "Batman & Robin"!!

Collora made the film as a portfolio piece to show the big studios his directing skills, and, in my humble(?) opinion, I think he sholud be in mad consideration for any future Batman projects.

I'm not going to spoil the plot for you, but if you do a search on the title, you'll all see what an awesome film this is!!

Go check it out!!:D :D

i just saw this recently too. honestly, i didn't really care for it. for one thing, it looks like they used a really cheap batsuit. and it was way too short!! you don't what happens to batman or the joker. i think it could have been done a little better,

It sounds like a B-movie, low-budget film to me!!

I remember hearing about that on Howard Stern a while back.

It got a lot of positive feedback, from what I remember..

It just goes to show what some motivated film folks can do minus all the extra baggage associated with a big Hollywood production.
