I think Joe and Antonio probably changed the most over the course of the series.

Joe started out being an anal-retentive, straight-laced kind of guy who always followed the rules and during the series run, he relaxed a lot.

Antonio started out as the innocent, naive, well-adjusted sensitive guy, but near the end of the series, he turned into a whiny, pathetic, bitter loser at times.

I think Roy changed the least.

quite.

Also I think Fay did change a lot
I mean she got worse as far as her insanity was concerned
she was one hell of a nut!
to be fair all of them would fit nice in some psychiatric clinic. And that's the beauty and magic of the show!
wouldn't you agree Kristen, my dear?

In terms of voice, Lowell changed alot.
His voice wasn't naturally deep, but he was ment to sound like a dolt.
Later on, he molded into a bizarre THC hybrid.

RELAXED???? What about that annoying cardboard chart that Joe worked up when Joe, Helen, Brian and Casey were all sharing the same house? That chart had everything broken down into bathroom times, etc.

I loved how somebody eventually wrote "This Chart Bites!" all over it and Joe had a royal COW!

You ARE right though...as a rule Joe DID loosen up a bit in the later episodes....Oh well, I guess that once you get married with your hand stuck in a toilet, the little things in life just don't seem to matter as much anymore!

  hahahahaha I loved that! haha! "THIS CHART BITES!"

I dunno... I think Joe changed a little bit, but I think he was one of the characters who changed the least through the 8 years of the show...
I think Antonio and Brian changed the most.
and I think Fay and Roy changed the least.
maybe it's because both of their names consist of 3 letters and end in "y".....
(lol i'm kidding)

It was funny because I didn't even notice about Brian until I had seen the whole series, and then it started back from the beginning again, it was a big change from him at the end of season 8 to him at the beginning of season 1! I think Brian was a lot more goofy, and hyper, and kid-like in the first 2 and a half or 3 seasons... then he started changing a little, and then I didn't notice it at the time, but really, after Brian and Alex started dating, Brian changed A LOT!
I like the earlier Brian the best... you know, like the Brian in my avatar, holding raw meat up to his ears saying, "Look, Joe! beautiful AND biodegradable!" hahahaha

I've mentioned this in another thread, and you don't hear too many "Wings" fans talk about this, but I think that Casey changed a LOT from her first season with the show to her second season.

In her first season she was very stuck-up and snobbish, and really put herself above the other "Wings" regulars. However, by her second season she seemed a lot more down-to-earth, and more "ditzy" than snobbish.

It's as if living among the "Wings" regulars for a year softened her and made her into a nicer person.....of course, rolling in the hay with Brian could have had something to do with it too! ;)

oh yeah! I forgot about Casey for a minute.
She did change a real lot over her 3 seasons on the show.
When she first joined the cast, I didn't like her... bt then by the end of the series, she was one of my favorite characters.
