Solomon all female comedians don't always talk about sex. I told u u need to watch The Queens Of Comedy standup tape. Mo'nique, Sommore, Laura, Adele Givens had me rollin. It wasn't better than The Kings Of Comedy standup but it was good. BET's Comicview has some good black female comedians. I don't like white female comedians cause they're corny. I can't relate to their type of comedy. There's gonna be a dvd coming October 7th with DL Hughley, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, Sommore, J Anthony Brown, Ricky Smiley. It's a standup movie. I gotta get that when it comes out cause i haven't seen it. Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, J Anthony Brown, Ricky Smiley are hilarious. Standup movies are funny. Martin Lawrence's You So Crazy standup was very good. His RunTelDat standup was ok, certain parts were funny. Chris Rock's standup tapes i've seen are funny & Jamie Foxx's standup tape i've seen is very funny. Eddie Murphy's RAW standup movie was kinda funny. Eddie's Delirious standup was funny. Eddie was the man back in the 80's. He's gotten corny now. I wanna see some old Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, Robin Harris standups. I've heard some of Robin Harris's standup on cassette tape.

Of course they have other material.

I know I agree. I was watching Ellen Degeneres doing stand up once, and it was hilarious. She was talking about things that were true and people could actually relate to. Nothing about sex.

Ellen is about the only female comedian that makes me laugh. The others are so-so. But I think both male and female comedians talk about sex alot. It gets rather boring. The 'clean' comedians, I think, are hilarious.

Her show should never have been cancelled- too many narrow-minded people stopped watching just because she came out, I watched her show anyway- hilarious.

There's a show on in the UK called The Comedy Store (the comedy store used to be infamous for being the starting point for successful comedians- back when it was just a comedy club and not a tv show- on the show you'd think it's open mike night- you never hear of them again) and some comedians are hilarious- but I noticed it's actually male comedians talking alot about sex now. Women just make fun of men, and cars, and pregnancy.

Well I guess when an UNATTRACTIVE talks VULGAR on stage it's ok because it's no physical beauty. It's not taking away from nothing. But if you have this female with a beautiful face and talks so Vulgar, she wouldn't be as attractive as she was before she started talking. Why couldn't they be intelligent? B/C of the way they TALK? Dress? The way they talk or dress doesn't have NE effect on their intelligence level. Story Time! My government teacher is one of those ppl who you can completely goof off with and I goof off all the time and I ask some really weird questions and I'm louder then I am in other classes. So, ya know, I could tell he thought I was, kinda a ditz and would be getting C's in the class...you could just tell whenever he talked to me. All b/c of the way I talked. I have 3 favorite "comediennes". Ellen's the only one of them who I think is non-sexual in her humor. Margaret Cho is vulgar, and she's brass, but you know, she is hysterical. Roseanne has had some raunchy stand up too.

If it's okay for male comedians to be filthy and talk trash and sex and all the sort, so can females. Margaret kicks butt.
