Okay, I mentioned this in the random thread but I thought Id just give further explanation, this'll be fun! :D

Okay, this will be like I Love the 70s, where we atlk aobut differnt things from the 70s in each year, except itsn ot Hal Sparks, Mo Rocca, Micheal Ian Black, Rich Eisen... etc. it's us! We could bring in some other people from the boards too, but mostly it'll be us

We will make comments about what they talk about on ILT70s, and what they dont

Dont worry, if a show you havent seen is taslked about , you dont have to say anything in that segment where we talk about it

Make all the comments you want, make jokes too, like for example

Say we were talking about..........oh.........The Waltons

Id say :
The Waltons was a show that reeked of boringness that was about some family from the west, and the pldest son had grape jamm on his cheek, AKA a mole

Another person :
Take The Flying Nun, make it a drama, make it a western, you've got The Waltons

etc etc etc
How does it sound?

Yeah, that would work, They didn't cover Laverne and Shirley, Soap, Family or the Brady Bunch Variety Hour.

I'm trying to think of what else they didn't cover.

The Jackson Five
Designer Jeans
Spin Art

That's all I can think of right now.

They mentioned it in the wrong year. I'm so confused.

1979 was a bad year for me. Three's Company came out in 1977 and they mentioned it in 79.

I confess that I haven't seen the "I Love The 70's" (i cant get tvland for a while yet :( ) so I really don't understand how this is supposed to work.....

Are we suppoesed to just talk about the shows we love from each year with facts/tidbits of info, or just make stuff up to make it funny?

Oh well, don't worry about it. :) When we do start, just jump in when you get the general idea of it.

I think it would be cool to comment on other things besides shows.

Like food, games, pop culture, music.
Basically, making comments (Rated PG) about stuff, funny one-liners, anecdotes. You get the idea.

Gotta go.
